We requested two rooms for our recent stay. We had asked for adjoining rooms. Unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate us, but gave of rooms that were close. The worst part is that they gave us one room that was already occupied. When we finally got everything corrected, we found that one of the rooms had a slow draining sink and the other had a stopped up toilet. It gets better...they didn't have anyone that could come up and fix the toilet. They finally found a plunger, but they handed it to me to have me un-stop the toilet myself, saying they didn't have an engineer to do it.

The staff was nice. I was disappointed in the room because the carpet was very worn and stained, the water pressure was weak, and the air conditioner didn't stay on at night so i didn't sleep well. Plus, it was noisy with guests coming and going to other rooms.

They were doing renovation on the side of the hotel I stayed in the noise level was terrible I couldn't get any rest on Saturday because they started early on Saturday morning.They should have just closed that side of the hotel down for a while . Banging a lift was in front of my window in which was taken old debree from the floor above my room so I couldn't open the curtains because someone was going to be able to look into my room. So I went to the front desk and asked if they could move me to another room in which they said nothing was available. I'm like really so for my 2 day's I stayed I had to deal with the noise. 😡

Room was fine. Mary did great getting me some coffee and milk later on. Every Marriot I’ve ever stayed at had 24 hour coffee available and free complimentary breakfast, this place had neither. I’m not sure if these are franchised but the owner here is obviously greedy and I won’t be staying there again.

This motel offers very a relaxing and quiet experience. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The beds were soft and comfortable.

My bed had some type of bug in it. They bit me at night about 8 times. I took pictures of odd black tiny debris of some sort and stripped the bed. Told them around 10:30am on day 5 of a 9 day or so stay that it all needed changing out and showed them the “debris” - I returned to hotel that evening at 7:30pm to the room in the exact state I left it in that morning. They apologized and gave me a minuscule “credit” at the bistro supposedly, but I do not see it reflected on my bill. I personally think for a $20 credit for this toward my almos $2000 stay is insufficient. The staff was very nice , just a couple were obviously neglectful and ineffective. Obviously this incident skews my opinion on the entire stay.

I enjoyed my stay at this location. The room was clean and it was a very calming experience. The breakfast menu was okay if you eat pork. I wish i would have known before booking because the breakfast menu is very limited. I wound up just opting for the juice and water instead of wasting my money. The staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate but were limited as to what they could offer. If i could just suggest that hotel edit the breakfast menu to include non pork options such as turkey bacon/sausage for the guests that don't eat pork. The room also did not have a microwave in it and only after bringing it to management's attention, was one then provided. The ice machine also didnt work on the 2nd floor. Besides that, my stay was cool.

I frequent the Richmond area often. In live 60 miles north and sometimes it easier to stay then drive home late. Like this hotel and can see me rebooking

This hotel advertises that it is “Pet Friendly” and then they bury the pet NONREFUNDABLE fee so far down in the small print, it is extremely hard to find. The fee is Absolutely ridiculous. So actually, it is a fee to discourage pet owners from bringing them. Beware of this scam!!!

A wonderful place to stay! Our double queen room was immaculate, very quiet, attractive and comfortable. The hotel is free in a pleasant locale. Its ground are inviting. All this and free cookies too! reception is poor but we really enjoyed our stay

Excellent night's stay. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Only issue was the the washcloths were stained and not quite clean. Everything else was perfect.

There was three of us in a king suite. One of us was to sleep on pull out couch. That's me. Pulled out couch mattress and there was a huge stain on it and no mattress protector. It was disgusting!!! So i had to sleep on short couch with a flat sheet. Cushions of couch was filthy.

This location is always clean and the staff is usually kind, knowledgeable and helpful. When I booked my room the included breakfast didn't appear on my reservation at the hotel, so I showed the concierge my email containing the information where I had booked and was able to eat breakfast at no additional cost. For all my coffee fans this location has a limited Starbucks selection. Room was clean and the essentials are in the room. Ambiance is a great place for couples.

I have a few questions for front desk AM to make sure check in information correct from hotels.com and concerns cc hold w it being holiday weekend. On your web site didn’t see option for AAA or AARP discount. Once hotel couldn’t find my Marriott ID number to apply points for stay. Later emailed it to be from Marriott however when tried says not recognized. Other that all good.
