The room (and bathroom) was perfect for a couple’s getaway. We had a bit of street noise on the third floor on a Friday night, but not enough to be a problem. If you want quiet, maybe move up a bit.

Check in was very easy. Room was gorgeous and extremely comfortable. Love the look and feel of it all. I would have ranked the property condition higher but the jacuzzi tub we paid extra for didn’t work.

Our first trip to Houston and this hotel was amazing. It’s very well maintained and has a very friendly staff. The area around it is very well maintained and safe.
Would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Houston.

Unique hotel, enjoyed the stay.

Stayed here to be close to the ballpark. It was within walking distance (less than a mile) but they had a shuttle that dropped us off and picked us up. The elevators are small but cute and our room was GORGEOUS! The shower was amazing. Comfy bed. There was a little ballgame celebrating outside our window but nothing terrible.

The room was nice, however the lobby furnishings need some serious upgrades. $52/night plus taxes forparking is ridiculous. The shower curtain in the bathroom looked not to have been changed in about a month, it had that pink bacteria color growing in the seam. I requested a clean shower curtian & extra towels, neither were provided.

Asked for ice as there is no ice machine on the floors and it never came to the room as the front desk said. Found someones hair all over the duvet and robe in the closet was dirty. The shower head for the whirlpool did not work. There is no on site parking, only valet and it is not reasonably priced for what you pay for the deluxe rooms.

The hot water in our shower only worked for the first night and the morning that we left. The food is not seasoned. There’s no way French toast, flapjacks and coffee should add up to be $70. Highly over priced for below average food. For such a fancy hotel I’d expect the food to be good quality. No microwave in the room. So if you want to heat up your food, good luck.

The Manager is in serious need of customer service training. I watched his interaction with a set of young ladies. He was mean, rude, dismissive, and totally unaccommodating.

The staff were all exceptional in their positivity and kindness, especially during a difficult time as Hurricane Beryl had just passed through and many were still without power at their own homes. Resilience and positivity in the face of difficult. Wonderful people and a wonderful stay. Love Hotel Icon!

The welcome was awesome. Unfortunately, there was a hurricane and the manager tried to kick us out the room; very dismissive. He later redeemed himself but it was sad that he didn’t even care about two women/human beings during the hurricane.

Great customer service, everyone was super friendly, and helpful. The hotel is close to numerous of bars and restaurants. They also offer a free shuttle to take you anywhere in the downtown area. 10/10 recommend!

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding. Every staff member was so friendly and accommodating. We had stayed here before the wedding and we will stay again!

It was quiet and well kept. We needed an overnight stay for a get together in Houston and this was a perfect downtown stop. We hit the gym before going out too which was a nice perk.

It’s a good location for staying downtown close to all restaurants and bars which are easy reachable by walking. If you’re looking for shopping capabilities you will be disappointed - nothing available in downtown, only in the suburbs.
