Hotel is one block away from the main road, which made for a nice quiet stay and restful sleep. Location was accessible to restaurants and shops nearby.

Everything was so comfortable and clean!! Staff were wonderful. The free breakfast was yummy. I love the dispensible soap, body wash, and shampoo. The shower heads have a massage head. Beds are so comfortable. Blankets and pillows are super soft and cozy!! The low incidental fee is amazing. Hampton inn is the best!!

Great hotel with wonderful accommodating staff

A very clean updated hotel. I was expecting usb ports on the lamps, but there were none. The front desk loaned me a plug in block to charge my phone.

Very clean and nice employees

The Hampton Inn Glenside is our go-to hotel when visiting relatives in Richmond. Rooms are clean, plenty of parking. It's also close to freeways. The Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is just up the street, it's fabulous. The staff at the Hampton are all friendly and helpful. We'll stay there again.

Felt like treating myself, so I got a larger room/suite. "Treat" it was. Very spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable.

We have stayed in Hampton Inn & Suites in different locations with excellent experiences. So our expectations were high. However, our expectations were not met. The rooms are only cleaned every other day so our trash was overflowing and we were out of coffee supplies. In addition, the swimming pool was supposed to be opened by 9 am. When we asked about it a few minutes before 9 we were told it would only be opened at exactly 9. We waited till 9:30 and it still was not opened. When we asked again the person at the desk said she was the only one working and was not free to open it at that time. That is not acceptable. Part of the fee we pay is for the facilities and if the facilities are not available then we should be reimbursed for not getting access to all facilities.

Hotel is in excellent condition and very comfortable. Eric at check-in was outstanding. Very professional and efficient. He also helped me for another stay I have upcoming.

Great facility. Easy parking. The room I booked was spacious with coffee maker, microwave and fridge and a separate sink /area to handle simple food. Front desk was efficient and polite. Mibor issue was that the bathroom door couldn't close easily. Other than that great stay relqtuve to the cost. Would recommend.

Nice hotel

Checking in was so easy, lady was very nice. We even got free waters. So that was great!! Definitely coming again when i come back this way!

Safe, quiet, well lit property. Convenient to W Broad Street which has all of the businesses. Easy access to I-64 and I-95.

Love a clean, friendly, pet friendly property!!

Several issues: there was nothing in the room to say how often the room was serviced and there was nowhere to hang used bath towels. So we tossed them on the floor. When the room was not cleaned we asked the cleaning schedule at the desk and they had no idea. We requested clean towels which were given. Second issue is the bed linens. The sheets were undersized. So we had a tug of war all night long to stay covered. Third issue is the invoice. We requested that it be emailed. An hour and a half later we still have not received it. We were not given an opportunity to review it before paying.
