large clean rooms with great housekeeping. Everyone on the staff from the front doo, reception and restaurants were very courteous and helpful. Could not find a fault unless you look outside the front gate at the nightmare of traffic, but that is hardly their fault

The service and staff were excellent but the towels were old and worn. Also you need bigger containers in the bathroom for body wash shampoos etc. So little.

Sorry to state that the property upkeep is not good. It gives a run-down feel. Lot of things require repair / replacement

The property is in very noisy location, no good scenery, very dusty. Limited food options.

Mold present in bathroom on privacy curtain. This could lead to allergies and other ailments. This was reported earlier to the Housekeeping Manager when I stayed there for the first time a few days ago in a different room. Obviously, no attention paid.

Disappointed wi the the bed they provide in taj. The valet guy crashed my car in parking and didn’t even tell me about it. I didn’t realise it happened untill I got home and saw it. Very disappointing service

Depressing rooms, poor lighting

this property was well-managed & well taken care of. It had a gym, a spa for massages and a pool. It has two different dining options and the main restaurant was wonderful.

I had an amazing stay here at vivanta the staff is so caring. The hospitality is outstanding as expected at the Taj. It's also a kid friendly hotel. So you can get your little munchkins here and they will be welcomed with love.

Nice room and outside swimming pool, decent breakfast. The concierge was super helpful with finding and communicating to local taxi drivers. The location is a bit outside of the center at a huge road. If you want to cross, there is a bridge about 5 minutes away

FYI, our stay here was thru two separate back to back bookings for a total of 2 weeks. Copy pasting previous review as it is valid for the entire duration of our stay. Note that we flew in from USA. Sujit Chatterjee from housekeeping was awesome - provided mosquito repellent for bites outside hotel, came everyday to check if we needed something. We asked if he can recommend a box to pack for shipping. He went over his normal duties to find a couple of empty boxes from the hotel and even gave us tape! Overall impeccable service from Sujit and hotel staff, front desk, travel desk. Very close to heart of city. Lots of items at breakfast buffet with live music. Most are good except for a couple of items like potato curry for Poori, Pongal - I tasted better items at other restaurants. Excellent shower, clean bathrooms. We got connecting rooms for the kids. Our room oversaw the busy road and metro but NEVER heard any honks or other sounds. Best soundproof hotel I have been in so far. Highly recommend the hotel any day!

Liked the location and ambience of the property. Food quality was acceptable. But the interiors looked very run down. Window curtain in the shower area looked dirty and soiled. Interior cleaning was shabby. Left over cups were still lying in the refrigerator. None of the programs were working on the TV.

Good hotel, a bit aged but well maintained. Restaurant with good food and possibilities to have Indian, Thai and a la carte selection. The strong point of this hotel is the service, all the people working there are nice, experienced and able to help in the best way. Recommended.

Lovely experience in a good property managed well by a courteous and well trained staff. The concierge was very helpful in maximizing our sightseeing. Breakfast spread was lovely.

The room was very comfortable, staff bent over backwards to ensure we were happy beginning with housecleaning staff (especially Hemant), restaurant staff (especially Anirban and Biswanath) and the front door attendants (especially the main manager).

Not children friendly. My son didn’t like to stay in the hotel. We had to vacate early.

Hotel staff were really helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable.
