the hotel was very dirty... old.... not comfortable the only good was its only few steps from the place that i have a some job there.... otherwise was misrable....

I was here three nights. Found the staff very helpfuk. Rooms nice. Bed comfortable. Food was excellent!

Very South India atmosphere, excellent service, happy to react to some issues, could hsve bit more western food choices

The furniture was so bad. Chairs weren't in condition nor the coffee table . The bathroom love wasn't fixed . Food wasn't served hot . It wasn't tasty either . The restaurant staff service was not good . But the rooms were clean and the helping staff were really good .

Sheets were smelly. Curtains were shuttered. They left limited towels not enough for the guesses. Checking in staff is not friendly at all and treated us as delinquents.

Ac was not working. Staff doesn’t have ethics or courtesy to behave with customers

Took a long time to check in as the person was attending to a call. told me that he will give the wifi password but never gave.

Hotel Room is good. Correction is required as per following.1. Room is dark. With all the lights turned on also, room is not bright.2. Switch arrangements are not uniform and it has become difficult to understand.3. Room is slippery to walk.4. Bathroom is slippery to walk. Door mats are not maintained to rub legs. 5. Have to remind staff to keep things like toilet tissues, towels, etc.6. Interior design is good. But, its not user friendly. 7. Bad smell started coming from wash room area. Wash room door is not good. 8. Requested staff to provide cello tape and scissor for packing things. Response was not received. Overall, being a 4-star hotel, maintenance is not upto the mark. 4-Star hotel standard to be followed.

The late night check-in went well, but they were out of key cards, so I wasnt able to obtain my room key until the next morning. The staff was helpful and attentive. The room was shabby and not particularly clean. The ceiling fan had two settings: off and high and noisy. The A/C controls were terrible, and over-chilled the room. I was only provided with two bath towels and a hand towel -- I guess they dont believe in wash cloths. There were no tissues in the bathroom either. And there was too little storage for personal items.The breakfast was so-so at best, and the food wasnt very fresh. The pool area was so uninviting, I didnt spend any time there.But the biggest disappointment was the internet service. It went down frequently, and operated at low speed at best. Thats a non-starter for anyone on a business trip. I wound up checking out early and staying elsewhere.

Shower did not work well.Bath room door could not be opened.I was locked in .I struggled for about 10 min.They removed my stuff with out my permission.Just crappy.

I have stayed at Daspalla earlier and chose to get back again! This basically tells that this hotel is my preferred choice when I travel to Hyd. It's location helps as I typically drive down from Bangalore and it's quite convenient as compared to staying somewhere more interior in Hyd.

I m a classical dancer and I had some important recording in Hyderabad and I stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The hotel looks neat but the staff are very narrow minded. I have invited my singer to collect the musical notes for the recording. The singer came little late around 9.30 pm. During the time of givng notes I got a call from the reception continuesly for more than 10 times and they started calling my cell. They said that no guests from outside are not allowed. I took the singer to the restaurant and started giving notes again. The manager came to the restaurant and statred giving lecture about this. I felt very insulted and also I could understand that they are very narrow minded. Also one of their staff stealed my very costly watch. I realized after I reach CHENNAI. I called them and enquirer them about this. They were very irresponsible and rude and Finally they washed their hands. Don't stay in this hotel. Waste of money and no privacy

Enjoyed staying here. Food was great in three different venues in the hotel. Only issue is not full hot water in the morning probably due to high usage. Overall great stay.

My wife and I got married in Hyderabad, my hometown. Instead of staying with my parents (we were visiting) we decided to stay in a good hotel for that night. Das Palla came with some recommendation so I booked it on Expedia.in. Rs 3500 it said. When we arrived we were asked for passports. I said I could provide mine but my wife's was at my parent's house. The receptionist wouldn't care. I was the one paying for the hotel and I could provide the passport information but apparently that is not sufficient. Finally they gave us the wireless password and she could get onto her email to send them scans of her passport. After all that we were told that the hotel was overbooked and they would gladly provide us transportation to Ellaa, also a 4-star hotel. The guy at the reception was polite. We couldn't take that deal because we had made plans for walking over to shop nearby (for another wedding the very next day... talk about busy). He eventually relented after about 10 minutes of asking for other options and finally gave us a room. We settled in and this being our wedding night, ordered the cheapest sparkling wine on the menu along with some local food. The Sula sparkling wine was more expensive than what I had seen in a store nearby but hey, this is a 4 star hotel. They said the wine is on the way. After 15 minutes I called again and the guy apologized and soon enough both the sparkling wine and food show up at the door. The sparkling wine was warm. (more on burrp.com)
