Nice place for a 2 night stay while visiting Milford. Comfortable place. 5 min drive to restaurants and grocery. Morning walks around the lake and star gazing were lovely. No view of lake from the room. Room faces the road so not ideal for opening the curtains in the room.

We immediately were happy with our choosing this lodge to stay in after our great check in experience with Kim. She was personable and helpful with suggesting beautiful sunset view walks and other hikes. We stayed so we could drive into Milford sound the next day for hiking. Close to walk to grocery store and town center. Big room! We would recommend this to friends and family, we would also stay here again ourselves. Thank you Kim and team!

Walk along the lake from, and just away from the busy town intersection!
We spent 2 nights and enjoyed the area and unbelievable Milford Sound drive/cruise. Got great tips for rainy time from Host best was the video on the Fiordland at the local cinema!

If you want a great placevto stay in Te Anu then this is your spot. Close to town, quiet digs, amazing lake views and a host that has an amazing calm demeanour even when the apps have let us down! Five stars and More!

We stayed for two nights at Lakefront Lodge and used as our base to visit Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound (both incredible!). Our hosts were lovely, just so helpful and so knowledgeable. Our room was terrific - spotlessly clean, super comfortable and we loved the lavender bags and chocolate on the pillows. A great stay and would recommend wholeheartedly.

Super cozy but spacious. The jet tub was amazing.
Only thing I would say that could have made this place even better was if the beds were a little more comfortable (they weren’t bad but not what I would call ideal.
But we loved this place and the staff was super nice. Definitely recommend and we would definitely go back!

I wish we could have stayed longer! Comfortable , clean and great location. I hate that I forgot the lady’s name in the office but she was delightful and so helpful!!

Amazing location and such a beautiful place. We had the deluxe studio and the bed was very comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome. We had unit 1 and each unit had a lovely front patio which we got to enjoy the sunshine in.
I’d stay here again, it was lovely!

This lodge was in perfect location with beautiful mini botanic garden. Room is big and suite style with kitchen. Very clean with hot tub for relaxation after tired hikes.

No air conditioning and no view of the lake “Lakeview Lodge”

This is a great place in a great location. Lots of little extras were provided. But no air conditioning and it was so hot every day in the room. The owner said tempscwere very unusual and no hotels on the south island provide air but research shows weather is often hot in the summer and all our ither hitels have had air. Wouldnt recommend staying in the summer
