Overall, the stay was fine. However, I was disappointed that the area around the property was under construction making it very accessible unfriendly for anyone with a disability. The staff did try to make accommodations, but valet and parking outside of the hotel was unsatisfactory. Due to construction, valet was a block down the street meaning that you had to walk a block in the rain with your luggage to get to the hotel entrance. The same is true for self-park. It rained my entire stay. As someone who has a walking disorder, it was very challenging, and I had no forewarning that this would be the scenario.

Initially, they put me in the wrong room but they were very quick and friendly about rectifying it and getting me to the deluxe suite I reserved. I forgot the young man's name at the front desk, but he was great (he wears glasses). Nada, my waitress at the 806 Lounge/Restaurant, was amazing, friendly, and very attentive. She was great! My spa session was the best I've had compared to some other places and they really rolled out the red carpet for me.

Top tier customer service. Requested a microwave at 1am and they brought one up promptly and the room was clean and loved the tub and shower! Best hotel in Houston !

The property was smaller than what was shown in the photos but the property was very nice & clean. Our room greeted us with a very pleasant smell. I love when rooms smell fresh & are well cleaned. The staff was friendly & accommodating. The only con was the construction although this is outside of the hotels control however, it was an eyesore.

Everything was great! The only thing I can complain about was right after I checked in, I got in bed to rest for awhile and someone entered my room! Once I said hello?? They said sorry and closed the door. That really spooked me for the first night but other than that it was great.

The property was perfect. It’s walking distance to lots of places and a quick ride to others. The facility was kept well, and the room was comfortable. The room service was okay but was convenient for late night bites. The drinks at the bar were very pricey, but again convenient. All in all I would stay again and the room was clean minus a few very small things. But they were easily and quickly addressed.

The 6 day stay was amazing. It started immediately, as when I checked in I was upgraded to a suite. The staff in all areas functioned at the pinnacle of professionalism. From the spa to thevredtsurantvto the front desk and door staff, I couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

It was a horrible experience, we pre paid for the room and during check in after they took our deposit did they tell us our room was not available. While we did get upgraded our room had only one bed for a family of four. I had to sleep on a regular sofa and they had no extra linen for a blanket. Hence it was one of the coldest nights I had, I slept with 4 layers of clothing and got no sleep. Poor front desk which was no help and in future move away from JW Marriott.

The staff was very nice. But they weren't very informative about the shuttle transportation or the Spa. They never made us aware that its best to book appointments with either or both if you wanted to use these services. Even though i made them aware that this was our first experience staying with them. Not to mention the from our to the outside was horrible. All we saw was the back of a building and ac ducts outside of our room window.

Excellent stay! The staff were amazing, super friendly and accommodating. The room is big, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The executive lounge was a nice place to relax in with some munchies after a long day. The location is also excellent - right in the center of everything in downtown Houston. I will definitely stay here again whenever I’m back in Houston.
