Clean room, decent sized. Bar and restaurant are both small and without character - functional but not comfortable or stylish.
Easy to park the car (albeit for a £10 charge) and close to the main road and shopping area.

The room was very basic even though we chose the higher standard hotel. We struggled to bring our cases in as bathroom door open and no room to manoeuvre. Only three teabags and four milk in room . We were both quite cold in the night .
The positives was a comfortable mattress and a very quite room. The breakfast was good and staff very obliging.

Building work taking place not informed in advance very loud drilling and banging from 9am management not interested should have been told in advance and not put in a room next door being renovated very unhappy

Excellent service and very comfortable room. It has an amazing location near lots of shopping and restaurants, as well as convenient to the port terminals. Highly recommend staying here and also a visit to the SeaCity Museum!

As good comfortable room at a reasonable price. The location is excellent for thae train station and local buses. The area is not particularly exciting but irrelevant as I was out and about doing things. Housekeeping was very good. I would have liked to see more opportunities for recycling.

Staff very nice but the room so dated and the bed was like sleeping on a board! I like a firm mattress but I came away with a backache. Room was tired and carpet dirty. Never again

Hotel needs updating Rooms are fine but dated no USB plugs so if you don't have a UK plug in you cant even plug in your phone .Only Shower towel available no Hand towels. .Good location to Cruise port and shopping .

Room ok, price ok. Meal ok. Wanted another drink but the one staff member was busy making coffee for someone else and ignored me. After a while I gave up. Not enough lifts.

A good budget hotel for visiting Southampton. A 10 minute walk (through the rail station) to the Mayflower Theatre and into the city centre. Comfortable room and plenty of hotwater for shower/bath.

Very nice hotel for a one night stay before boarding a cruise. Cruise terminal only a few minutes away by foot. Rooms are quite small.

Very disappointed that you don't have air-conditioning in rooms. Didn't know there were ANY hotels without air-conditioning in this day and age in a well to do country. Fan was very ineffective for keeping room cool, especially with windows not being able to fully open. Update needed ASAP!

Dirty old run down mould on tiles very dated not much help on reception, no hot water to shower, they were told the night before we tried to address it in the morning and were told they had just been notified

It was okay for a stopover before cruising but I would have been gutted if it was for a weekend away. When you first go in it looks quite modern but after that it is a bit of a let down visually. It’s very clean though. The staff are great 😊

This was not as advertised, blood stains on Sheets, bathroom was stained. Had to change rooms and still not much better. If your cruising don’t be fooled by the photos.

Check in was easy. Staff was friendly and helpful, even printed our luggage tags for our upcoming cruise. Breakfast was hearty. Beds and linens were comfortable. The room was small, but adequate for a night's stay. The desk laminate was chipped, but didnt interfere with stay.only big drawback was the lack of AC, so if you like the room cool at night, it may be too warm. The windows open, but there is too much road noise for a peaceful night with them open. They did supply a fan, but my husband cant sleep with a fan...dries out his sinuses. We did get a good nights rest.

We found the staff to be very good.
We were disappointed in the single electrical outlet in the sleeping area, which would not accommodate a USA plug.
We both have CPAP machines and only one outlet that would not accommodate a USA plug.
Will not use this Ibis again.

Great location. Hotel can use some upgrading, repairs. Not enough dining options near by. Very close to cruise terminal, very convenient.

Staff very helpful and friendly cheerful. Breakfast very good. Evening meal fair. The Greek salad was very odd. A bowl of olives, green beans,and feta mostly and no dressing. Pizza was good.
The room was exceptionally small and the hallway carpet was quite tired with various stains. Needs replacing. Lobby area and restaurant very nice and welcoming with a nice lounging area and small bar.
