Free coffee and tea all day in the lounge area.
The double bed was crammed against a wall. No bedside table or bedside light.

I only stayed in Vincent house for a night, but I did engoy it. It's in a great location. The room was well organised and clean. The staff friendly. Everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was also very nice. When I'm back in London I'll prefer it again! I totally recommend it!

So clean. Everything in the room was spotless. Firm bed and pillows. Plenty of room and a good amount of furniture. Small fridge and tea and coffee in room. Fifth floor room overlooking private gardens in square and I would even call it a small balcony.. Super nice staff. I was going to be an early morning arrival but it was no problem as there is 24 hour access. Breakfast buffet was very comprehensive and good quality. A quiet location in Notting Hill but close to tube and tourist attractions.
It's a sort of 'clubby' atmosphere but that just makes it all the better. A hidden gem. Don't pass it by.
Lifts are a little ancient but do work.

The hotel surpassed my expectation in terms of the room. We were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and that we had a little living room with sofa, fridge and TV etc. It was lovely to have this space.
We arrived at the hotel earlier than the check in time and the staff were really friendly and very kindly stored our cases so that we could go and explore London and then check in later. This was a lovely service.
Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfy. The living room area was a great place to relax and unwind with a really comfy sofa, kettle with tea/coffee facilities and a little fridge. The bathroom area was great with a lovely shower and some lovely complimentary shampoo/shower gels.
We had to check out very early the following morning due to myself being on parade in London for Remembrance Sunday. Again the staff were lovely and very kindly held our cases for the day. This was a lovely touch and really helped us.
There were a couple of minor issues but these can easily be resolved.
We would both recommend this hotel and we certainly would stay again as the minor issues did not detract from our stay at all.
There were a couple of minor things that we didn't like - firstly our room was way too hot. The heating was on full blast and there was a fitted radiator cover over the radiators so we had no way of turning them off or even down. We had to fling the windows as far open as we could to let the heat out. This then presented another problem in the fact that the traffic noise (london doesn't sleep) was horrendous. I can sleep through the traffic noise so it didn't bother me too much but my friend was awake several times throughout the night due to the noise. This could be eliminated and resolved if guests could turn the radiators off and not have the room like a sauna.
Secondly despite paying for bed & breakfast, we were unable to actually have any breakfast as the hotel did not start serving until 8am and we had to leave no later than 7.30am to enable us to be on parade for Remembrance by 8.30am. I did email in advance asking if we could have had some cereal or even just some toast and we were declined this which personally I felt very disappointed with. I understand that they could not provide a full cooked breakfast and was not expecting this, but to have been offered some cereal would have been nice and would not have put anyone out! We feel particularly short changed that we have paid for something that we could not have. This was a let down.
And thirdly.... the main hotel toilets next to reception need a deep clean and toilet hooks need placing in the actual toilets on the back of the doors. Instead they have put the hooks outside of the toilets so you are expected to hang your coat/bag outside while you go in and use the loo - who in their right mind would leave their belongings outside the loo for another person to help themselves to?

Schönes, für londoner Verhätnisse grosses Zimmer im 6. Stock.
Stock. Ruhige Lage.

It was charming and historic but spacious and had all the modern conveniences.
The location was fantistic. Portobello Road an easy walk. Moderate walk from Paddington station.
I loved the lounge area and garden. Gigi the resident ginger cat is an added bonus. The restaurant had a great English breakfast, and the dinner menu looked good too.
The reception staff was wonderful, thanks for the fish and chips recommendation!
Everything was very clean. The room was small, but it worked well due to smart layout.
Not a thing.

Quiet neighbourhood, spotlessly clean, happy, helpful staff.
Common areas a little warm but very minor point.

This historic post-war building is part hotel / part residence and is in that sense somewhat quirky. I was given a lovely room which was actually a small single and a larger double with a beautiful view of Pembridges Square and a small but very well equipped bathroom. Very good mattress, sheets, towels. All the staff I encountered during my stay were friendly, kind and helpful and left the impression that they enjoyed working there.
I was not particularly impressed with the breakfast.

Really lovely staff, well situated, child free, has a mix of short and long stay residents. Its minutes from a high street and tube, Uber pickup in less than 2 minutes. The hotel is clean and has a beautiful 1930s style, there’s a bar/lounge area with a piano and a nice garden. The rooms were immaculate, and the cleaners went over and above. Breakfast at £15 included seemed standard, but the optional evening meal at £20 really is good value for the area. Overall a really nice vibe to the place, will definitely come back.

The location is great, just a couple of minutes walk from Notting Hill Gate station. The hotel also has a comfy bar and garden when the weather is good.
The breakfast has to be served to you, and the portions were pathetic. One sausage, one piece of bacon etc. i was surprised I didn’t get just one baked bean. I was still hungry so I went back to get a small croissant and was told off by an extremely rude middle-aged Asian woman on the serving staff that I am not allowed to help myself or use my own fingers “because of the…”
Because of the WHAT exactly?

What a gem of a find. I've stayed around here for work before, but this was ideal and very well priced. Great seating spaces if you want to chat or work downstairs, great breakfast, a good sleep had. Was able to work in the lounge the following morning after check out - fab. Some biscuits in the room - even more fab !
I had a twin room and the single bed was small, I would opt for a double next time,.

The location is excellent for the circle line and walking through Hyde Park to Kensington and the Royal Albert hall. The staff were friendly and the place had a very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. We loved the bar with pool table and resident cat. The room was huge with a balcony and super king sized bed.
