I was upgraded to a very big and confortable room. One of the best I can remember.

very friendly staff, central location, lovely room with comfy bed. I was a bit worried reading other reviews, and yes, one day the hot water took ages to come (all other days in the week I stayed it was totally fine), and in some cases the rooms could do with a small refurbishment, but on the whole and for the price it was really nice and very comfortable.
Breakfast was not great, a lot of the food was dried out and looked/tasted very unappetising!

So after l paid with VISA card l realised the rather high rate 99Birr per 100USD , l requested them that l pay with USD and they fully cancel the EFT transaction . They agreed l paid them the 375USD for my 5 day stay and they agreed to reverse the transaction and refund me back my full amount . However when then returned the money they changed the exchange rate to 95.70 instead of 99 and in the process l lost money . I dont understand why they changed the rate for my reimbursement yet they had taken it from account with a diiferent rate . If ever you have to stay here at your own risk ,go with your ready USD DO NOT use EFT you will loose money . I am back to my country and still requesting them to give me back my money The highly spiced food which were Ethiopians cuisines l unfortunately could not get used to them . So l survived on water melon for my entire stay during the breakfast (which you would have paid for ). The rooms face what looks like squatter camp with shucks not a good view .

I like the way I was attended to. Thumbs up to Abebe and the Manager for making me comfortable during my stay.
Was upset on my arrival to be welcomed by roaches. Had to change my room that night.

Great location. The room was great and well decorated and designed. I loved the room’s layout.
Everything worked well for me during this short stay. The restaurant looked stuffy especially during breakfast.

All the staff were extremely polite and delivered very good customer service, they were all very helpful and wanted to provide the best that they can and to keep us happy. The lobby has a nice ambiance and is the best part of the hotel, also the rooms and the hotel in general is very clean.
I was very disappointed to find out that there is no central air conditioning or even window AC, I was provided with fans, thankfully the weather was good but I did not want to open the windows in case any mosquitoes enter the room. The chiller was not working but they brought another one. The hotel is old and the rooms are shabby, I was upgraded to a suite but it was grim and old.

The room was massive and spotless. I was pleasantly surprised by a small gift left for me one of the days. The location of the hotel suited my needs very well. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The WiFi was good and should be adequate for most uses including video calls.
When the electricity tripped, which happened quite frequently - several times a day, it took a while to reconnect (mostly, a couple of minutes but once about 8 minutes). I didn't notice the electricity itself tripping but heard a gentle rumble each time my WiFi connection dropped (and presumed we were switch to generator power). A tax invoice was not available.

I've stayed here a few times and as always the staff is incredibly friendly and the rooms are good.
The standard has gone down a lot since my last visit in 2018, maybe due to the pandemic and and conflict. However, there were some basic issues, e.g. several times there were no towels, no toiletries, it took two hours and two trips to reception to get an iron. The breakfast was much lower quality than four years ago and I miss the lounge area downstairs.

as i answered the above questions the price is fear their food is very good specially breakfast the location is very good location their service (how do you handle the customer Service )is excellent overall they I am happy to choose Jupiter.

Relatively cheaper than the next door Radisson... prices offered at the property are cheaper than on booking.com
Windows are not soundproof... constant noise from the generator ...smell from the kitchen travels up to the rooms...poor breakfast...

I stayed for my quarantine period and then returned for a stay before I left Ethiopia. The rooms are really large (and importantly to me during quarantine had a lot of light and I could open a window!). Room service was good and reliable. The cleaning staff were COVID-19 cautious and friendly. Staff behind the desk really helped me figure out where to go to get the things I needed and helped me sort out transport. The gym was amazing, I think it has just been refurbished because the equipment felt new. Great location too!
