Walking distance to the beach it was clean when we arrived my kids enjoyed the pool.. we come every year so we would definitely consider staying at this spot again

It was a beautiful weekend but the only downfall for us especially having 3 grandchildren ranging from age 5-10 who were most excited about grandma and grandpa getting a beach house, was the pool not in service until the following day. The plan was to get as much use of the swimming pool before we headed home. Other than that, it is a beautiful property.

GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH STAY FOR OUT OF TOWN WORK

The home was in a great location. It was in a quiet neighborhood and short walking distance to the beach. The grocery store was also within walking distance. We were able to walk around most of the island from the house. The house was clean and comfortable. We had 6 adults and had plenty of room.

My family loved the house and thought it was so beautiful. The only ding was the hot pool. We were able to walk to the beach and grocery store. Major attractions were very close by. Definitely would stay here again.

Overall everything was great. Only concern was the pool. There was a lot of bugs in it and some white flakes around the edges.

We had a private pool and close to the beach. Kitchen needs some adjustments to the spice cabinets.

The house was very spacious. I really liked the large dining table and the extra seating with the bar stools. We enjoyed the private pool. Great location! Walking distance to beach and to grocery store. The outside shower is an added benefit when coming back from the beach.

Check in was extremely efficient, with a keypad lock. Very spacious and clean condo.

We had a great time here. We didn't want to leave. The house has a few cosmetic issues like paint chips but is otherwise a great place. Alot of space to hold your stuff. Perfect location! Walking distance to a grocery store, the beach, many souvenirs shops, lots of activities and bars and restaurants. The pool is kinda small but the kids loved it. We loved staying here and if we go back to south padre we will definitely look to book this home!

We rented here for my birthday (all adults, we had no children), and we thought it was very accommodating! We have rented other houses around the island before, but this one was one of the most memorable and pleasant. Highly recommend for a nice little getaway rental.

Perfect location for all your needs. We walked to the beach every day. The grocery store was at the end of the block and other store too. The house was cozy and the beds comfortable. One thing I loved was the difference selection of pillows provided, from soft (my preference) to extra firm. I have not used a feather pillow in forever. The pool was the perfect size for a small group and the outside shower helped alot with getting the sand off. The kitchen was well stocked, except for a big lid for the largest frying pan. There were paper towels, toilet paper,plenty of towels and a variety of dish washer tabs, lol. Looked like three or so vacationers left their pods, so I did as well. I also let garbage bags and paper towels. Providing garbage bags would have been a plus, but I get it. That is a lot to provide on what you already do. The chair in the up stairs master bed room is dangerous, hit the heck out of my shin trying to make it between the bed and the chair. Loved that there were TVs for everyone. Beware on the sand in the middayAugust heat, burned the heck out of my feet!!!

It was a perfect location.

Great location. Walkable to store and restaurants. More kitchen equipment would be helpful such as skillet and spatula. Pool was too warm, shade is needed.

We were really looking forward to our stay as we had viewed the property photos online and everything looked well kept. Different story once we arrived! First of all the listing states, as well as the pictures showed, a washer and dryer at the home. They were missing! The space where they were advertised to be located was empty. We had to air dry our beach soaked clothes outside then ended up bringing all of our dirty clothes home. One of the bedrooms, the one with the bunk beds, had a large hole punched through the wall and was not fixed. My kids were staying in this bedroom and this was just awful to see. The shower doors to the walk-in shower were also broken and every time we showered they would fall of the railing and we needed to fix them. The pool was a plus at the property, the water was warm for our kids, but beware. You will walk right into the pool as soon as you open the back doors. Overall, the property failed us. We will not be returning here for sure.

House was clean & served my family’s needs well. Was in a great location on the island with everything we needed.

This duplex was great! Upon arrival the place was SPOTLESS and gleaming! Keyless entry was simple and easy to use. Private pool was lovely. Only thing I’d tell others is if you’re staying longer than a couple days you need to bring extra detergents/trash bags and paper products. Also, it is a duplex. We were a bit surprised because that isn’t clear in the listing. Would definitely use this location again!

This property is great for the price. Can’t beat the location. Truly within walking distance to multiple things! More space than the pictures show! Backyard pool area is a little tight and it doesn’t get any sun if you stay in colder months. The washer is a little touchy, so beware if you have a large party, it can only take a few items at a time. Vacasa was super quick to respond when we had an issue after checking in and overall our stay was amazing!

The house had so much room, was very clean, lots of towels, had everything we needed, the grocery store was less than a 1/2 a block away. Highly recommend this for a family!!!

Property was very nice, well kept, and as described. The living room feels bigger if you move the smaller couch against the wall. Toilet paper and napkins were of poor quality so you might want to bring your own. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay.

The house is beautiful, looks just like the pictures shown. Everything was very clean. The pool is private which is what I was looking for. We would definitely stay here again.

This home had everything we needed for our social distance vacation to South Padre. It has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms (which is so clutch when you have kids to have a half bath downstairs) and a private pool. It was also fully stocked to cook and enjoy ourselves indoors and outside by the pool. I would recommend this home for anyone who is thinking about traveling to South Padre as a family and want to practice even more social distancing. The private pool could not be better. The only thing I will say is make sure all doors are locked if you have little kids. The pool is right off the back door and all rooms have balconies which is great but we have an adventurous five year old so we always triple checked all the doors before naps and bedtime.
