This was our first time on the island and we will be back! Great location to everywhere you would want to go in a quiet neighborhood. A short walk to the beach. The condo was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. Communication with Gary was great. Really enjoyed our stay!

First off, its hard for me to say this because i want to keep this place all to myself, but the condo was 1 of the best places to stay on the island. Walking distance to the beach and it was full of everything you would need. Shoutout to Gary for being a great host. 5 stars.

Beyond impressed with this location! Gary was just a text message away & even sent a msg a couple days into our vacation to make sure we did not need anything. The rental came stocked with paper products, dry kitchen goods (should we want to use them) beach gear also!! The bathroom had starter packs for soap, plenty of SOFT towels, washcloths, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the blankets were so cozy. Smart tvs had everthing and more. Great couch! Great recliners!!! Everthing you would possibly need in a kitchen also! We were thankful for a washer and dryer. We brought laundry soap and fabric softener, but that was there also---even stain spray. Under a 4 minute walk to the beach to enjoy the sunrise and plenty of beach time!!! Four minute drive to the other side of the island to watch the sunset. Highly recommend this rental!!!

Efficient check in and check out. Very friendly manager and quiet complex.

Only negative was alarm went off as we left ant 7:30am and we were cussed out by an older gentlemen. Other than that the stay was amazing.

Near the center of the island, great location overall. Host was responsive and helpful. No issues checking in or out.

This was our second time staying here, and the condo was another 5 star stay! The property was very clean, and was in a great location near the beach. The AC does a perfect job in keeping the condo cool and dehumidified. The property manager was also great in communication and in providing information. I definitely recommend this place!

The closing to my bday week was spent at SPI! The location was perfect, the condo was perfect, and even the small things to accommodate was perfect! Thank you so much even the communication was perfect 🤗

This was one of the best VRBO homes I’ve stayed in. It was so clean and was the perfect size for me and my partner! The location was minutes from the beach and restaurants/bars in SPI. Bed was super comfy especially after long days parading around town. Gary was wonderful with communication though we never had any issues. Would definitely stay again should we end up back in South Padre.

Our stay was amazing. We had a busy week in town and coming home at night was wonderful. The location is quiet and quaint but still close enough that we could enjoy the night life. Gary is a great communicator. The condo was clean and tidy and the rules were simple and well laid out. Beautiful stay. Will recommend and try to stay again.

Property owner was easy to work with and location was close to beach and restaurants. Loved being able to walk down the street and having the beach right there. Property was clean!

Loved the room and the location. We have stayed at South Padre before at a different condo and it was nowhere near as clean and the proximity to the beach was not as advertised. Gary was a great host and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Overall I was very happy with our stay and the price is very reasonable for what this place has to offer 😊. I would definitely stay again!

Def a return at this listing! Perfect for my family and the property manager was so attentive and accessible. Listing was clean and the property manager provides some beach items which are in the listing, super thoughtful. Direct Beach access too.

This is the second time we stayed here and it did not disappoint once again. Gary Is a great host with a great property. The condo has everything you need for a comfy stay whether it’s a night or two weeks. And the location can’t be beat. Less than a five minute walk and you’re on the beach living it up to the fullest. Its also prime location to restaurants and shops of all sorts. I’ll be choosing this condo every time we go to SPI. Thanks again, Gary for everything. 10/10 recommend this one for your trip to SPI.

This is my second review because we rented two condos from Gary in the same location and utilized both them for our family trip. We absolutely loved him and blessing. This is our second year using his condos. He’s very easy to communicate with and to deal with any issues he doesn’t make you feel stupid for asking questions or checking in and he is usually up super late at night and handles everything as soon as he thinks of it or if you ask him. He does have the place to set up with everything that possibly Could think of, There’s definitely some little extras! You don’t even think about needing until you’re there. Overall we would definitely rent again as we have been in are very grateful for him:

We really enjoyed our stay, SPI is a beautiful place, full of distractions and entertainment. Gary was very helpful and friendly, always ready to help. The apartment is comfortable and cozy, (especially the bed) with a nice view from the third floor. Restaurants and shops are accessible within walking distance, for us it was a plus.

Gary was a great host, with quick communication. The condo was very clean and as described. Bed was comfortable and I appreciated the extras such as boogie boards, outdoor chairs and a box fan. Not cluttered giving room for your own things. Plenty of kitchen space for cooking. The walk to the beach was very short -can very easily carry chairs and cooler there. Will stay here again!

Comfortable bed, many "extras" available to use if needed such as spices, condiments, food, etc. Owner is super easy- going and kind. Place is VERY close to the beach-basically walk up the street a block. Shopping around the corner in walking distance as well and my girls enjoyed the icee place, hubby appreciated the liquor store closeby. Ha!

Gary checked in with us again on just prior to our departure from home to ensure we understood how to get there, how to check in, and really made us feel welcome before ever stepping foot on the property. Most of all, he provided his contact information and ensured us he was only a call away should we need him, which really gave us a sense of comfort, knowing we had someone to rely on if we ran into issues.The location of the property is phenomenal. It is just off the main drive, but just far enough north that you are outside of the main areas of traffic, while still close enough to grocery stores and restaurants that you could walk to them, if you felt like it. The walk to the beach was short, five minutes or less, and the closest beach access delivers you to an excellent section of public beach, which for us, was not crowded at all during our stay (late July 2021).The condo itself is wonderful, with all the accommodations of home like dishwasher, washer and dryer, small appliances, bakeware/cookware, utensils, etc. The condo is beautifully decorated with a nautical flair, without being over-the-top, or kitschy as beach rentals often can. We enjoyed coming home and relaxing in the condo after long days of playing in the sun, sand and surf. The sleeping arrangements were perfect. We had a separate bedroom, with a door for privacy, and our son had two bunk beds to himself. The mattresses were very comfortable. We had a scheduling crisis at the end of our stay that was entirely our fault. We were in panic mode and rushing around trying to find a solution. Gary stepped in calmly and graciously and offered us an additional night, completely fixing our debacle. Gary is a wonderful property manager, but beyond that, he is a genuinely good person. We will gladly rent from him again,South Padre Island (SPI) was a wonderful place to spend a vacation. The beaches were wonderful, and with our timing they were not very crowded. There was plenty to do and see on the Island, and Port Isabel was just across the bridge, offering even more to see and do. In short we loved SPI, we want to come back again and again, and we will be booking this condo, or any other property managed by Gary, again! If you decide to do the same, you will not be disappointed! We loved it! We loved it!

Gary’s condo is perfect for a small family’s short getaway at SPI. It is clean and comfortable. If you end up cooking a few meals, you will be pleased to find a fully equipped kitchen.
