This is an overall nice place. Not the most luxurious, but not run down either. The apartment is very clean and has everything you need, except a dishwasher. The location is walkable to the beach. Furniture is comfortable, plenty of towels, but no extra bedding except for one bedsheet. I did not like being greeted by an "in your face" centerpiece book of a Democrat president. The bath tubs could use rubber safety mats. And the vent on the door leading into the first bath looks unsightly-needs a paint job. Walking upstairs can be tricky for elderly/weak people or pets. Weather was rainy and the steps get kind of slippery. Would have enjoyed a couple of lawn chairs on balcony. Would recommend place as suitable snd adequate for the price. Remember to take PJs if you are staying with another family as the bedroom with the queen bed has its bath located in the common hall area near living room. Loved the kitchen area cabinets. The tall valets ceilings and crown molding give it a grand and elegant feel. Kitchen it top of the line. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and lovely. Lots of closet space. Big DVD collection and several board games for down time. Easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed the little pool out back. Very warm. The showers on the side and back of house were great for washing off sand too. We will definitely stay here again.

I looked at probably 100 condos when I was planning our trip. Other condos had more, but none were as nice for the price. Most of the others in the price range of this one were outdated and seemed like they could be gross in person. This place was recently updated and very clean! The only issue was a small one (the pots and pans were extremely cheap) overall the property was very nice and comfortable.

The condo was clean when we arrived but there were a few items that needed attention. We brought it up to Melissa and Billie jo and they took care of the problems in a very timely manner. I was pleasantly surprised with our condo stay. It was clean, beautifully decorated and I loved all of the attention to detail (please don't ever change the "towel animals!"). Location was excellent, I would highly recommend and return to stay again.

The property itself was just as pictured. Clean, cute, and quaint. However, an hour into getting into the condo all but my 14 year old daughter went down to the pool. As we went down to the pool someone knocked on the door (my daughter didn’t open) and even OPENED the front door claiming to be maintenance, leaving an air filter. This was extremely alarming for us and as a parent with all the child abductions that occur. I’m not sure why maintenance would come at the hours of guests reserving the property. Additionally, not a huge deal but more of a waste of time, I couldn’t get ahold Of the property management for over an hour because I never received the check in email. None the less, called Vrbo customer service and they helped me get in touch with the after hours team who then sent the check in email with the codes etc..

We were fortunate to find this listing. The accommodations were comfortable and just right for two couples. The apartment was well stocked and clean.

The condo was just place for my family and I. The layout, the decor and the location were the perfect home away from home. The king and the queen bed were very comfortable but I do recommend bringing either a full air mattress or a 2-4" foam mattress to put on top of the pull out sofa bed. That was the only thing that was uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than that, it was wonderful place to spend with your family.

This unit was beautifully decorated and clean. It had plenty of amenities inside and out with the pool being an added bonus. You have plenty of appliances and utensils in the kitchen and the towels and bedding provided were sufficient for all guests. It was a quick, easy walk to beach as it was close to an access point. Overall, would definitely recommend this location for your stay on the island.

We had a great time in South Padre! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Was a little disappointed we could not use the pool it was very dirty and had beer cans from the night before from other visitors. But other than that great!

Reviewer Comments: Our first day there it was a little frustrating because we drove 8 hours and we were so ready to rest, but we couldn't. Our check in was at 4pm and we had to wait and extra 30 minutes or more because our key code that was given to us did not work, we waited for the manager to get there so she could fix the door code. Everything was great, we loved the decorations and the way everything was set, it looked clean, but the last night we stayed we noticed that the master bed room had bed bugs. we only noticed because the couple that slept there woke up with bites(I did take pictures and a short video for proof). That was my only complaint, overall the place well taken care of.

The A/C broke, the master tub didn’t drain properly, the smoke alarms went off for no apparent reason beginning at 6:30 am. There was a possum in the trash can, little cockroaches inside and the big ones outside- a big cockroach even jumped into my glass of wine! Everything was really cheap- the sheets, the towels, single ply toilet paper, trash can liners that ripped because they were so cheap. I recommend you spend a little bit more and stay somewhere else.

The property was immaculate and well supplied with everything we needed. The decor is beautiful. The only thing was there was not a remote control in the bedroom for the cable but we shared the one with the living room. Overall our stay was wonderful. I would recommend this property and I would stay here again.

The place was really clean and had everything we needed. They even had a few boogie boards on the back patio. We had plenty of clean towels and dishes. I do feel however that the kitchen could have been more organized. My only negative comment was that I didn't get any responses from management when booking the accommodation through vrbo and then some information from VRBO led to some confusion confusion with the booking. but as far as the rental itself. everything was as advertised and the location was agreeable. The beach is about a block from the home and there is a place beside the house to wash up when you come back in for the beach. There is a pool out back that we didn't use. The house is near an restaurant that was next door but closed due to Covid 19. From the balcony you can see both the beach and the busy street which is near the home. But the good thing about south padre is the beach is relatively close no matter where you stay. If you stay at this location, you will be on the beach side of the island and you wont have to cross any busy streets to get to it.
