Comfortable & near MTR

We stay 4 days 3 nights but 1. They not change our cup/glass or clean. 2. We come 4 people but they not prepare things in the room for 4, we have to request over and over again. 3. The towel not clean have some hai, dust before we use and not hygiene in some point.

I find it difficult to justify a 4-star rating for this hotel; my experience felt more aligned with a 1 or 2-star establishment. First, there was no porter or concierge to assist with our luggage upon arrival, which was particularly challenging given that I was traveling with two kids and four large suitcases. Next, the receptionist was quite unfriendly. There was no greeting—just a rushed credit card transaction. The lack of warmth was disappointing and set a negative tone for our stay. When we returned to check in after our room was supposed to be ready, we encountered a different receptionist who was similarly unwelcoming and rude. This treatment was unexpected and unwarranted. Lastly, the room itself did not meet my expectations. It was evident that cleaning was not a priority; the room was dusty, the bathroom had visible black mold, and the carpet appeared to have been neglected for some time. Additionally, one of the bed linens was badly stained. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. I believe hotel management must address these issues, from capital expenditures to better staffing, to ensure a more positive guest experience.

Regal kowloon hotel is a great place to stay when you're in the city, it is near to mtr station plus there are lots of stores and resto outside the building. The staff are also helpful and accommodating like Mr. Dennis Dulay who help us during our stay. The family room that we stayed in is spacious and has a great view of the beach. The room and their bathroom are well cleaned. Also, you should try their breakfast buffet cause they serve delicious food.

Since my last visit in 2023, the hotel has made a number of improvements: - there is now a ‘conciergerie’: 2 member of staff in charge of the left luggage (still no back room and therefore the entrance looks messy) and 3 member of staff acting as porters… before there was only 1 person and no porters) - there are now 2 lines at the reception for check-in and check-out (although a fair few clients just jump the queue) - bedroom is pristine clean: good size bathroom (need a refurb but still very good) + bed is much more comfortable due to the addition of a mattress topper (good night sleep even if you have a back problem) - the area seems to be much busier : there are now a large number of shops, restaurants etc. Apart from these, the hotel has maintained its cleanliness throughout and the staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. All in all, I am happier with my stay this time around and would definitely recommend the Regal Kowloon hotel.

Kind size bed is my favorite, along with the C-shaped chair that placed next to the nightstand.

The soundproofing in my room doesn't seem to be very effective, nothing more.

The building is old and less lights. There is a lot of luggage on the main floor and the counter is bigger than the check-in counter. Unfortunately, the staff services look less professional overall. Free shuttle bus service is suspended temporarily now.
