we got upgraded to about room upon arrival and everything throughout our 3- night stay lived up to our expectations. staff was very friendly and greet you all the time while addressing you with your name. cocktails, beach and the restaurants provided excellent food and the room with balcony was a treat. so was the spa. we saw hornbills in the trees in front of our terrace which was the only time we got to see them up close during our Malaysia trip. looking forward to come back to this piece of paradise in the future.

The resort was amazing. One of the most beautiful resorts we have been to. The pictures were actually not doing justice to the beauty of the place. I was positively surprised by the beach and venues. Really good selection of restaurants and places to relax. I like that fact that they have adults only pool and restaurant (despite we traveled as family). Small things like offering sunscreen at the beach pool were a nice touch and considerate service. The room was really spacious and the view on was spectacular. Loved that the Monkeys came and said hello to our son a couple of times to the balcony. Just remember to keep the doors closed.

The service at the pool was at first as not as stellar as expected at a 5 star ritz Carlton (e.g. had to ask for water ourselves) but when we addressed this they reacted to it right away and since then the experience was really good.

I don't often write reviews, but it would be a shame not to share my experience at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi and recommend this fantastic place to everyone. Everything was perfect—impeccable services, attention to detail, well-equipped rooms, friendly staff always ready to assist. The breakfast restaurant set in the jungle with a beautiful terrace offered a diverse menu and a generous buffet with very kind employees. Funny fact: during scrambled eggs and lovely capuccino we were visited by the resident monkeys, that were greeting us every morning and stealing sugar from our table. What a lovely day to start the morning! I highly recommend trying the Beach Grill restaurant, where the chef truly impressed us. Besides the excellently prepared food, he crafted a mango salad based on our preferences and on request he prepared for us a “surprise dinner" that was absolutely extraordinary. The Horizon beach bar offered us a beautiful sunset by a chilled rose wine. The music played by the Dj helped the perfect atmosphere along with the fresh and luxurious food. The Chinese restaurant by the ocean, with its elegant design and impeccable food, added to the overall excellence. I used the spa services twice, with the 120-minute massage rituals, used one hou before the facilities like the sauna and jacuzzi, and I left from there relaxed and speechless. At some point we did a walk in the jungle with a guide provided by the hotel. Of course the hike was beautiful, we’ve reached a private beach with a great view, but more than that, we were impressed with the young guide, vast culture and full of knowledge and also his perfect English. Many thanks to Mia, which offered us a perfect lovely evening and a memory that we cannot forget.

Comfy rooms. Forest view room had monkeys visiting regularly which was very fun. Breakfast options excellent. Staff excellent.

Die ganze Anlage ist wirklich wunderschön und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das gesamte Personal ist extrem aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich - das könnte nicht besser sein. Das Frühstückbuffet war fantastisch.

In den Speisekarten hätten wir uns insgesamt mehr internationale Gerichte gewünscht, leider sind diese extrem auf asiatische und indische Speisen konzentriert (somit auch sehr scharf), trotzdem natürlich extrem lecker, aber leider nicht für jeden verträglich, besonders bei einem längeren Aufenthalt. Mit der Sauberkeit am Zimmer waren wir nicht zu 100% zufrieden, da die Duschtasse wirklich extrem verkalkt war und auch schon unangenehm gerochen hat. Ansonsten jedoch OK.

Absolutely loved how remote and secluded the resort is. You really do feel like you’re in the middle of a rainforest in your room, and then walk out into a secret paradise island. The room was huge and absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the king rainforest room and it was amazing

You’re quite limited to cuisine there. They have four places to eat. Two of which are beach bars and close at 1700. So for dinner, you’re tied to two restaurants. Can be quite pricey as your holiday goes on. I wish the shower was more powerful too but that’s if I’m being really fussy! I also wish there was a plug socket to charge my toothbrush in the bathroom.

The service is amazing! Room is super comfortable we loved it so much! Shout out to Ritz kids, wonderful kids programs especially Santa’s appearance, our son enjoyed it so much!

Die Lobby /Empfang war sehr dreckig von den Affen , der Boden , die Tische und den Polster . Da sollte wie beim Frühstück ein “Monkey man “mit Katapult stehen um die Tieren zu verjagen. Bei den Schwimmbäder war nirgends schatten , es hat Schirm die nichts genutzt haben da man den Liegestuhl nicht schieben durfte!! Strand ist Artifiziell und viel zu grobe Sand. Beim Thai Restaurant wäre Fans an der Decke auf der Veranda noch gewünscht es war sehr heiss. Beim Frühstück muss man voraus ein Slot buchen und trotzdem war es viel zu voll und laut. Ritz Carlton war für uns ein Massen Abfertigung . Wir fühlten uns viel weniger wohl als in St.Regis. ( gleiche Hotel Gruppe) Wegen Hügel und der Hitze gerne den Buggy’s aber oft lange warten nach bestellen der Buggy. Der Resort riecht an manche Orten wie ein Zoo wegen viel Affen.

What a wonderful stay overall! This is real example of true hospitality at its finest, when something doesn't go according to plan, the staff will fix it and go above and beyond. Staff at every steps of the weekend made a huge difference. We also loved the quality of the food at the restaurants, the kids club and the small amenities, the buggies were fast to pick us up.

The Ritz Carlton staff went above and beyond to help us make the most of our 20-hour stay in Langkawi. From our pre-trip communication with the hotel staff, who provided us with very useful information about excursions and the ferry to Koh Lipe, to the front desk and concierge staff helping us with spa and restaurant bookings and our Skybridge visit, to the spa staff giving us what my wife called the best massage she ever had, to the buggy drivers and restaurant staff, everything was great. Not to mention the spacious, thoughtfully appointed room. It was our first stay at the Ritz Carlton and most certainly won't be our last.
