What a wonderful place to stay in Lalibela. I don't think there is a better place in Lalibela. 1. Lovely host and hostess 2. Great food by the hostess. I came to Ethiopia a meat lover but the vegetarian meals cooked by the hostess got me thinking otherwise. Best food I've had in Ethiopia and possibly ever. I recommend even if you're staying elsewhere to have your dinner there, you won't regret. 3. Away from the noise and hustle and bustle yet walking distance to the churches. 4. Amazing views 5. Great location for solitude walks up the mountain for those sunset views before dinner.. 6. Great Value for money 7. Clean rooms, beautiful, authentic african feel rooms with modern shower and toilet. 8. Tours to the churches offered by the knowledgeable host 9. Eco friendly Special thank you to the hostess for amazing dinners. I will never forget you.

I really enjoyed this beautiful eco lodge and the scenery from the cottage. Simply breathtaking and a wonderful place to enjoy the great view of the simien mountains and the valley in Lalibela. Also a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the sundowner. Beautiful place and friendly staff!

Breakfast was excellent, and the location was superb. Not in the town which was great. So quiet and probably the best views of the locations. Very peaceful and great if you like trekking as you you have mountains on your doorstep. The staff were great, they went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, if there was anything they didn't have, they would go and get it from town for you. Make sure you ask for a local guide called Abey, 17 years experience and absolutely superb, he will go through everything each day to make sure it suits you and he has fantastic knowledge of the churches. +251 911048895. The owner of the lodge will know him well as you used to be a guide too.

Maybe a little more decoration in the rooms. Make sure you have a battery pack, they do have a generator which they will switch on, and give you some solar lights which you can also use for charging, but it is an ecolodge. Wasn't really anything I didn't like

Perfect location, up in the mountains, lodges are very Nice. People super friendly, want to do everything for you. We were the first guests, so really starting. Breakfast was really Good. No jacuzzi or hot tub yet (working on it), 20min by taxi of tuktuk away from town in the middle of the nature Wich we really liked.

Is starting so facilities as jacuzzi or hot tub, gym, as mentioned in the description are not there yet.
