Pretty facility.

The service was very disappointing. 90% of the staff did not speak English and were very rude. First of all we booked the hotel, and when you book the room apparently you don’t get to see exactly what the room you’ll get looks like. No matter which room you book, the pictures are everywhere the same..the pictures of the whole hotel. I emailed them 15 days prior to my arrival to get a specific time room and I was told it will depend on the availability, not telling me right and there if it is available or not since I had already booked. As you can imagine, it turned into a whole argument when we arrived there, we got lied many nights in a row about this ‘availability’ and we ended up changing our room twice and still not getting what we wanted. Second of all, the food was a 0! We tried every night a different restaurant and each of them was a huge disappointment. Long story short, would not recommend this resort. Don’t get taken advantage of (since the price is pretty high to compared to what they offer)

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Unfortunately some of the restaurants were already closed permanently due to planned renovations to the entire facility (Esmeralda) which we did not know about prior to booking. We were able to use some facilities in the neighboring hotels within the Bahia complex.

spacious easy to get around and the staff were all super nice. the beach was gorgeous as were the cocktail bar. the food was heavenly apart from the Thali restaurant.

everything was really dusty and it was old dust. Lamps were dodgy. remote didn’t work and the Tv was poor. lack of electrical sockets and a kettle. used the coffee machine to boil water but disgusting. not everyone drinks coffee or tea. not being able to make restaurant reservations beforehand. not near enough parasols around the pool.

The food was great. We had lunch at the buffet and dinner at M.E.A.T. and El Olivo. Every dish was to everyone's expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The space and surrounding areas are very beautiful. Lots of vegetation!

Maybe having more shading areas around the pools (similar to the ones at the Fantasy resort). One more thing, particularly in our room (92015), the bathroom floor is not anti-slip --that is a hazard

It took us 45 minutes to figure out we had to get on a shuttle to get to Esmeralda. No one was there to let us know what to do.

beach and pools are amazing ,shower bathtub was great ,staff are nice and kind I can recommend this hotel .I cant wait for next time ..You can find 24 hours food , meat varieties and fish varieties were amazing…

rooms should be a more cleaner and well maintained…

- Size of the room - Comfortable hard bed - Beautiful green territory - Close location to the beach - Good umbrellas on the beach - It is connected to other Bahía hotels for better entertainment

- My room has been cleaned only ONES during my whole stay. Seems the staff don’t want to do their job. And this is 5 star hotel! There is no hygiene! - The bed sheets, pillows were dirty at the day of my arrival, looked like they were on the floor before - There was no bathrobe in my room, no bath accessories - The 24 hours room service doesn’t work, just because no one picks up the phone - A La Carte restaurants are disaster! EXCEPT all the restaurants in Bahía Ambar. NEVER go to El Olivo restaurant! It’s the most disrespectful place ever. Better go to cafeteria, the food there isn’t bad. - The beach is dirty. There is lots of rubbish in the sand. - It’s almost impossible to find a sun bed on the beach somewhere close to the water. Everyone is leaving their clothes or towels on the beds for whole night to “book” the bed. - Too many “random people” which are selling souvenirs are disturbing all the time. - Very poor bar menu - Cheap tableware and usually very dirty - In general the staff is completely unprofessional
