We had a great time. The Home was very good. The only thing that was beyond your control was the parking of our vehicle as their was a crew working on the street in front of the property. Thanks for a good week in South Padre Island.

My family loves to stay at this location. It’s across from the beach, convenient to restaurants, has a great pool and the other guests have always been great to mingle with.

This was our second stay at Athena Ares, and we likely will continue coming here for years to come. It’s rare to find a condo that allows big dogs, is clean, well appointed and maintained and close to the beach. We couldn’t ask for more! Management is friendly and very responsive. We rented 4 units for ourselves and the families of our three daughters. The condos were well equipped and very convenient to the beach. The pool and patio area were great for getting everyone together for dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed at this property 6 or 7 times over the years. It feels like our home away from home. It’s right across the street from the best beach access in South Padre; it’s clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Tons of towels, comfy beds, and everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation. We always enjoy the pool, hot tub, pool table and grill area after a long beach day, and especially love that our four-legged friend is welcome in the condo. It’s in a safe area and perfect for couples and families alike. Can’t wait for our next visit!

This was our second time staying at Athena Ares 101. Everything about the experience was better than the first time. The location, pool, and service can't be beat. As an example, we had a large storm come thru on our first night, causing damage all over the island, including near the pool. Martin himself and his crew were out early the next morning fixing the damage and ensuring everything was OK. We will be back to this wonderful property. (And do yourself a favor. Read the coffee table book about the history of their family and this property. Knowing the history, it's an honor to stay here)

Great Experience all around. The pool/grounds were cleaned daily, any issues or questions were resolved quickly by property manager, easy access to ocean, all of the group had a good time. Stress free and easy going. Would come back to this location and stay.

We loved the nice furnishings and having a great pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Very confortable and good location

As first time visitors to SPI we really had no idea what to expect. Owners answered all our questions very quickly. After looking at hotels, resorts, VRBOS we settled on this place and couldn't have been happier. It's just so much more relaxing being in a home environment Pool was awesome, beach access literally right across the street! Very close and convenient. I just can't say enough positive things. Only thing negative on our trip, we could have used a little more sun. Thank you again, we look forward to coming back!

This was a great condo that worked wonderful for a multi-family vacation. The units were very nice and clean and the owners were very responsive!

Loved our Winter Texan home for 2 months as usual! The group in the complex returns every year which makes it special. The owner & management are very responsive and appreciated.

Perfect place for our family. Our second day was windy so we hung around the beautiful pool. Very clean with a nice little porch. Nice and quiet. Loved it!

We rented the entire complex for our wedding. Everything was perfect!

Took advantage of a business trip and stayed a couple of extra days to enjoy the beautiful beach. The location was perfect. I love that it’s pet friendly. The room was spacious, clean and loved the outside amenities. We will definitely stay again.

This was my 3rd time staying at this condo. It has everything I need for some r&r, lovely property, steps to the beach. Wonderful pool and jacuzzi. Owners and caretakers respond right away and take care of any question you may have. Can't say enough good things about this place. Also great for large family gatherings as it offers multiple condos in its complex. Thank you to Sandy, Alex and Bonnie. Y'all are the best!

Just like the last time we stayed here, we had a wonderful time. Everything was top notch and clean. We didn't have need for anything. Pool and outdoor space was great too! We are already planning our next trip. Thanks again!

The location was very convenient to the beach. The pool was also a bonus because it was a large area for many guests and yet you never felt crowded. Allowing small pets was also a plus. The floors were very clean and the towels were very nice. The showers worked very well ie. good water pressure, good drainage, etc…. We frequent SPI multiple times a year and this will definitely be our new go to location going forward.

These condos have everything you and your family need (and more) to enjoy a beach vacation! This was our large groups 3rd year in a row to stay at Athena Ares and I think that says it all! :)

We go to SPI a few times a year and have stayed at other rentals and at hotels. From the communication after booking to the beautiful interior to the fantastic location, this property was a great experience. The interior was modern, clean, and well stocked. The pool was top notch. You are only steps away from the beach without paying the beach front prices. We loved it and would definitely want to stay here again.

The condo was clean and was close to the beach. The pull cart was nice to have to bring the chairs to the beach.

Immaculate condo, fully appointed kitchen. The pool and jacuzzi are crystal clear. Outdoor grill and seating perfect. Steps away from the Starlight beach access. My family loves to stay here. Owners are so nice and easy to communicate with. We have stayed here before and will again.

A beautiful, well kept property! I hope I don't leave anything out. The owners, Martin & Diane are very kind & professional. Great communication! My husband & I with our two fur kids enjoyed our stay tremendously. Condo was so clean & well kept. Furnishings & decor well chosen. A/C kept us cool. Techy husband was impressed with WI-FI and streaming options. Kitchen had everything we needed. Not only did they offer a regular coffee pot PLUS a Keurig! King bed was very comfortable! We loved sitting on lanai with our dogs, even the table & adirondack chairs were comfy. We loved being so close to beach access. We loved the quiet neighborhood. The large area of plush green grass (in front of pool) was a favorite for our dogs to do their business & roll on their backs bc they were having a blast! Easy access to outside shower & hose to wash off feet before entry to condo. They whole property is well lite for your security, especially when taking your pups out at night before bed. (just remember to always pick up after your pups) Everything in condo was AS ADVERTISED! A+
