Very nice B&B with heartwarming and funny staff. Caroline makes you feel after 2 minutes already at home. Really comfortable to reach the city along the riverside. Parking was easy

Breakfast is ok, but it has no buffet… the bathroom is missing some hangers for the towels and a shelf for your stuff

Excellent location a short walk to River and then city center. The Queen Bee made us welcome and made everything easy. Highly recommend including breakfast.

Had a lovely one night stay here. The bed was very comfortable and the late check-in after closure of the reception desk worked easily. But what made this place stand out was the superb English breakfast!

The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and would only shut down several minutes after turning off the lights.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here, this place was ideal for us, short walk along the river into the city centre but still very quiet and peaceful location, staff were all very helpful and friendly, Breakfast was very good. I’m sure we’ll be back in York some day and this is the first place I’ll look for availability. Also big thanks for letting me park my motorcycle around the back way, it was much appreciated.

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable It had all amenities, tea/coffee. etc. A great start to each day, our hosts were warm and welcoming, it was a real treat to be greeted each morning, with friendly banter and advice on attractions. A short walk to the city center, and a parking spot included. A most enjoyable stay.

Our Breakfasts were very good, with lots of choices. The waitress was very friendly and efficient, we didn’t have to wait long for our Breakfast items.

Our room was on the ground floor which we requested, it was very clean and comfortable, we were a bit cold on the first evening, the heating didn’t come on till later on so we were a bit cold.

Excellent staff, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was first class, well cooked and grease free. Location near centre of York was perfect... no need for taxi's. Room was clean, comfortable and warm.

Occasional noise from nearby train station. Decor a little dated (but clean). Electric shower was adequate but not invigorating.

The staff were lovely: very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast too was very good.

Our room was very small and really more suitable for a single person. We would not have wanted to stay in it for more than one night. Unfortunately, the radiator wasn't working in the room, and it was leaking slightly, so our room was cold in the evening. The plumber was arriving on the day we left. If we come again, we shall ask for a bigger room.

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable

The property was lovely. It was easily accessible to the train and to all of York. The staff was amazing and super accommodating. Lovely people. And breakfast was great!

The location was perfect. Staff were fantastic we was greeted at the door and it had that very personal touch to it. Breakfast was well worth it and got a great selection

Nothing really we didn’t like, if anything the pressure in the shower was reduced but that didn’t effect our stay.

The Guest house was clean, comfortable , cosy and the breakfast was gorgeous . The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble

The shower wasn’t working for 2 days, very low flow, we were told to run it for several minutes but flow still not adequate. A member of staff got it going for us, but still a very low flow.

Easy affordable car park, room was perfectly on the ground floor and easily accessible with our big bags

Loved everything about our stay, room was small but great for us 2 room was spotless & well equipped with everything we needed, staff were just lovely taking the time to chat & make sure we were happy & had everything we needed. Breakfast was really good with good choices will definitely stay here again as enjoyed our stay and close to city with parking as well as an added bonus thank you, special thanks to Queen Bee & Cristina for making us feel so welcome thank you

Breakfast was standard guest house full English with choice of starters etc but staff were friendly and efficient.

En suite had two steps down from bedroom which was a little awkward during night. Shaving mirror light did not work and shower head bracket kept falling apart - needs attention.
