There is a small amount of free parking, which is so helpful if you have a car. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious with plenty of storage for your clothes and luggage.

Our room looked at a concrete wall--so the photos are misleading in terms of that aspect. It didn't really matter since we were barely in the room, but it was surprising. No coffee in the room, but there is an excellent little cafe about 100 meters down the hill.

Great location, staff was wonderful. Room very pleasant. Loved the rooftop pool - it was small, more like an oversized hot tub size - but very comfortable and the views were amazing.

Restaurant not open when I was there which was kind of a bummer.

The hotel is on top of a hill. While this was fine for me and totally walkable folks should be aware (using taxi was convenient though). They also only give one set of keys to guests per room. The staff was totally accommodating in letting you in at all hours of the night if folks get split up but it would be more convenient if there were two sets of keys.

loved the location and patio in our room. bed was comfortable & the fridge is a nice addition.

loud construction during the day and although I believe the room was clean, there was a slight unfinished/old feel to the shower and room that made it feel less clean.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel roof top has the most beautiful view I have seen. You can enjoy the mountains and ocean from the roof top pool and get a drink from the roof top bar as well.

Our room had an ok view, interior facing. That is not a very big issue however since the room was cheaper as a result!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Amaca. The staff were all great and helpful. The room was a nice size, and we had a huge private balcony with couch/dining area! The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the in-room safe. The pool area/bar on the roof is a great addition. The location was perfect for us as it was walking distance to beach/restaurants/bars, but a little removed to provide a more quiet location for sleeping. There are stairs to climb to reach the hotel and at the hotel, so that should be taken into consideration. There is a gondola-thing to help with some of the stairs to get up to the hotel, but we never used it.

The bathroom was small and didn't have ventilation. Overall this didn't take away too much from our stay, but if ventilation could be improved, that would be nice (but not sure it's feasible).
