This place was amazing, especially for family reunions. Highly recommend. Jennifer the host was so easy to get along with. The pool canapy was perfect for after beach time, or for just hanging out at night. The unit has washer/dryer in garage for beach towels, also washer/dryer upstairs for other items. The overall experience was amazing. Will definitely rent here again. Restaurants: Our family loved The Meatball Cafe and Coffee - Books - Sandwich. If you drink coffee this is the place to go. House so perfect for our needs and property owner was the greatest I have ever delt with! We are all satisfied a d highly recommend for your family. We stayed a week and the grands stull were not ready to go home! So grateful for this time!

This house has it all! There wasn't a single thing that I would change. Jennifer has thought of it all and made our stay amazing. The location to the beach is perfect and easy to get to. The kitchen is fully equipped to include spare rubbermaids for leftovers! Like I said, she has thought of everything!

This home is absolutely beautiful and has all the amenities you need on your island vacation! The rooms are spacious, the pool is refreshing, and it has all the things you need for fun on the beach. Our family loved our time in SPI and would highly recommend this property and hosts.

You always hold your breath when you get to a property/stay, but this one was exactly what it claimed to be. The owner was extremely helpful, thoughtful, and the entire process was a breeze. Short walking distance to the beach, and the house was exactly what we needed. Would absolutely stay here again.

I’ve stayed at South Padre 3 other times and this property and all its amenities made this my favorite trip to South Padre by far. Beach was about a 7 minute walk from house to spot on sand at beach you can set up. The 4 bedrooms were all well equipped with everything as well great size and comfort with bedding. All beach equipment you would need including chairs, toys for kids, bodyboards for adults and kids, cooler, and inflatables for the pool area. Pool felt very private and was the perfect size to relax after the beach or just hang out all day. Great selection of classic movies on VHS and DVD, cable tv in every room as well great internet. Could not hear anything outside the house and can drown out any loud partying that might be going on nearby. Will definitely book again if we have enough people going with us.

Just had the greatest time in this amazing beach rental. You are at most 1 block walk from the beach access, has a great little pool in the backyard and amazing spaces inside. Our family of 5 had ample space to be together. There were plenty of games, beach/pool toys, movies et. al. for the kids to use. But most of all, this unit has maybe the nicest owners we have ever dealt with. We had significant travel issues getting down there and they were so gracious, flexible and thoughtful to us due to our scenario. They truly tried to make it feel like home. We loved our time and would absolutely 100% recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a little slice of heaven on South Padre Island!

Jen is an owner who genuinely cares about taking care of her property and her guests. I was already blown away by how nice it was from our stay last year, but this year we arrived to new, updated furniture in living room and a beautiful new dining room table. She takes so much pride in her rental property, which unfortunately isn't the case for so many others. We had a wonderful four month stay, and knew all of our needs would be taken care of, had there been any. I consider Mars to be my home-away-from-home, because that's how it feels. So cozy, and decorated so tastefully. Love hosting friends here, as they always feel as comfortable as we do. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful place to spend our winters. Thanks to Jen and Randy, and their generosity which is endless. Couldn't recommend this any more. I promise you will not be disappointed (except when you have to leave).

Even before checking in I was warmly welcomed by the owner. Check in procedure was smooth and the house is beautiful. We were a one minute walk from the beach but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Having a pool at the property made it that much more enjoyable. Owner also left a note book with notes on things to do and places to eat which made it very easy for our first visit to South Padre. Will definitely stay here on future visits.

The house is wonderful! It was spotless when we arrived and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with every pot, pan or cooking device you would ever need - and there is a great selection of spices and condiments as well. All sorts of beach toys and beach chairs were available to use. The pool was fantastic and having it to ourselves just made the experience so much better. The walk to the beach is very short and convenient. Jennifer was very friendly and attentive. All in all this was our best trip to South Padre ever and we hope to be back next year!

This is a perfect family home. The owner has really set it up nicely for a family with children. The home is exactly as described and more. 5 minute walk to beach access. We will definitely be back!!!

This house was perfect! Close to the beach, had an outdoor shower, a personal pool, a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of beds. We were even able to bring our dogs! Having a garage was also nice to give us extra room for vehicles. Would absolutely stay here again. Jennifer is a great host and quite responsive.

We stayed at this beautiful property for a week, it was amazing. The house has everything you have at home and then some. Jennifer was an awesome host and helped us with anything we needed. Rental is located 5 min walk from the beach and decorated beautifully, which gives you that beach home feeling. Pool is a huge bonus for all and beds were clean and comfortable. The title says it all. We stayed here for four months, so I believe that qualifies our opinion as very accurate. It wasn’t a rental, it was a home. Of all properties we’ve rented over the last six years, this is by far the cleanest, most well cared for, most comfortable and best maintained property we’ve ever rented. Jennifer is genuinely concerned about her tenants’ comfort and it shows in every detail. Everything you need (and more) is included. If not, she immediately makes sure it is taken care of, and then follows up to make sure it’s done right. Oh my gosh, don’t even get me started on the adorable decor. After four months, I was still noticing little things that impressed me. We are definitely coming back and won’t ever bother to look for another place as long as we can rent from Jen! I know it may sound too good to be true, but this is truly an honest review.

My daughter and I traveled to SPI to celebrate both our birthdays. The house was so comfortable, very spacious, super clean, and had all the amenities we needed, plus more. Every morning we would get up and walk a very short distance down to the beach to watch the sun rise while we walked on the shore (the beach access is right down the road from the house, which was so convenient). We would then rinse off and take a swim in the covered pool and lounge around outside on the furniture... we even napped out there because it was so relaxing. We enjoyed spending time inside as well watching movies and playing board games. This place really did feel like a home away from home.

Our whole stay was great Jennifer was so much help in every way. House and pool very well maintained. Beach was a short walk. Lots to do on island.

We had a wonderful family vacation with our kids and grandkids. Beach was close but the kids all enjoyed the pool just as much. This home was great for our family. It has enough space for the entire family to come together for meals and fun but also has room for the privacy some of us grandparents need after a busy day. The house is beautiful inside and out. It has everything a family needs from kitchen to bedrooms. They even have kids games and toys. I don’t think you could find a better place to stay for a wounderful vacation.

This is bu far the best experience I have had. This beats staying hotels!! It was very cozy, comfy, really like being at home!! My family enjoyed the short walk to the beach!! The house is very beautiful and roomy!! We all loved it!!😍😍😍

My husband and I, along with our 2 smalls dogs, stayed at the property in late April 2021, and we loved it. The home was very clean and comfortable, and had everything you could need and more, even kitchen utensils and spices, and a keurig! Which I very much appreciated. The owner was very sweet and responded very quickly to our questions. The location was excellent, only a few steps and you were at the beach. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area with the pool and the nice shaded area with comfortable outdoor seating and a ceiling fan, which is where we spent most of our time. It was also great that we could use the garage and leave our beach gear there. Another great plus for us was the outdoor shower for rinsing the sand off ourselves and our doggies. Although it was just us, I can see how larger families would also feel at home, as the home is very spacious. Overall we really enjoyed staying here, and can’t wait to go back!! Definitely recommend!

The Keurig was well stoked to get us started, the blender could handle ice well, and we even had the right tools to make impromptu Christmas sugar cookies!The pool was great, it's well shaded and a bit chilly in the winter but it would be great for spring and summer. The afternoon sun that hit the backyard was our favorite post beach spot.And the beach! Just a few minutes walk and your toes are in the sand. Close enough that if you forgot something it's no big deal to walk back to the house. We watched the sunrise, took long walks up and down, built sand sculptures (lots of beach toys in the garage for that!), and of course went swimming.We loved staying here, communication with Jennifer was easy and fast too. We'll be back for sure.

The house is so pretty , clean, well stocked. Everything you need. Pool is cute and property mangers are awesome! This was our 2nd year staying here. We plan on getting it again.

My family loved the condo. The kitchen was well stocked for all the meals we fixed. The bedrooms were comfy and the whole place was beautifully decorated. We did put away some of the breakables during our stay so kids could use coffee table for coloring and games. We appreciated the extra freezer in the garage for our ice. We all loved the beautiful pool and the kids had fun with foosball. Thanks so much for sharing this property with us!
