Not too far from centre of York. Parking on site. Quite cheap, but no food option (this was stated at booking though).

Tired accommodation. Bathroom had broken, unusable shower curtain. Bath panel damaged. Bed broken in middle. Noisy from bar beneath room. Poor public transport link from/to York from the area.

Service fee charged but no service received. 4 day stay, tea or coffee in room not replenished, no new towels supplied. In fact, the only member of staff we saw the whole stay was the barman who showed us the room.

Staff was very friendly, and it was in a great location for where we wanted to be. The noise from the pub wasn't too loud either

The room had rubbish down the side of the bed, and it was freezing because the radiator didn't work.

the room was very unclean, arrived and they said room wasn’t ready, when we got the keys went in and there were no mugs for drinks, the floor was covered in bits so hadn’t been hoovered, bed had women’s hair in, half a toilet roll available for a 3 night stay, and bathroom bin was full of hair and other bits including orange peel.

Was nothing like advertised. Have requested a full refund. Even the taxi driver who picked me up from the station was concerned about where I was going.

That it was a nice size room had a bath as well as shower big towels, not little small ones some other places have. Nice furnishings in the room as well.

Room had mould in the bedroom behind the bed & bedside tables. The toilet flush handle was broken, so my partner fixed it. The bathroom was filthy and had hair in the bath & they had only left half a toilet roll in the bathroom. We did not like that someone came in the room on the 2nd day of our stay with us, not in the room or knowing about it.

Room floor wasn't clean (needed hovering) & staff weren't particularly helpful. WiFi in the room was virtually non existent.

Good bedroom, with large bathroom. Everything we needed in the room, and told if we wanted any more coffee milk etc to just ask for it. Nice local pub, serving great beer and delicious food. Just 20 mins walk from the city centre (and that's with 2 dogs sniffing everything on the way). Lots of green spaces close by, even a nature reserve, if you don't fancy the busy city.

My only small dislike was that the place looked tired and unloved at the back (car park and room access). Which, while staying here, we had to see every day. But I'm sure that will be addressed

Location was amazing litrelly a 20 minute straight walk to city centre. Staff where helpful room was lovely everything we needed for a trip to the markets. Wasn't even any noise from the pub downstairs. Facilities where spot on.

Only complaint I have was the plumbing the radiator was noisy at times and the toilet needed a few extra flushes but it wasn't much of an issue.
