Close to beach and Malacon choice of pools at r Three properties

Clean place nice staff. The location of the Casa Susana is near the beach downtown area predominantly gay. I am a straight conservative female grandmother . .. I don’t fit 😉noticed drugs and prostitution activity during the early evenings and morning near the hotel area I was in my room after 6 the sunsets are unique and beautiful. able to book a tour every day so it kept me busy and out of the room and hotel area. so, next time I won’t book around that area . It was my first time visiting .. so now, for the next visit will know the areas much better. It is easy to get around and people are super friendly and informative . Loved Puerto Vallarta. Thank you !

Quiet, convenient to everything, Nice rooftop pool area, good service

LOVED the property, quiet and quaint. Only wish the pool side/ roof terrace had any type of service food/bev. I had to walk across the street for all bevs and dinning. Food from local shops was much more enjoyable

Nice mexican style hotel in the heart of PV. So its close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment options and beach. This is my third time staying at this hotel and it wont be the last. The receptionist is excellent!

The hotel is very cute and authentic. I watched them repaint several items to enhance the property. The air conditioner worked well, and although this is not a new, updated resort it was comfortable. We did not interact with staff other than the front desk. They were friendly. I was very disappointed when I arrived as I was expecting a nice all inclusive resort. Overall the experience was different and good. The pool is not very big and the water was very warm, so not refreshing. When I booked it said we had access to the sister resorts pool which is nice, but we were told no. So basically no pool. It is a short walk to the beach, and there are chairs for the resort. The beach area is by the pier and is more a locals beach area. This resort is in the gay community of Puerto Vallarta which was a surprise to us. Fortunately we were good with this, but I worry if the wrong people booked without knowing. We enjoyed our stay and made the best of the experience, but I would not return.

It’s quaint, basic and clean. My only complaint is they have a rule of no visitors to your room, but they take it to an extreme. I was dropping off my beach bag with my friend. We told the gentleman who was at the desk what we were doing. Within 30 seconds of entering my room security was knocking on the door saying he couldn’t be in the room. We left and i complained to the desk clerk she pulled out the paper I signed upon check in and showed me the no visitors section. When i said we were just dropping off bags she walked away and then another woman came and went into a lecture of rules being rules and if my friend wanted to stay I would have to pay for him to do so. Completely ignoring that we were just dropping off our beach stuff. I understand the policy and why its in place, but the previous day I was at the rooftop pool and there were many if the posted rules being broken by a large group of guests. Which leads me to believe only the rules which can be monetized were being enforced. Would I stay here again? Probably not. But it is a charming little place and the beach access at los arcos was a good bonus.

Nice quiet hotel

A nice cozy room in a boutique hotel vibes. I really liked that despite being in a busy central location, it is pretty quiet as it’s not on a through street. The staff were so nice and helpful with all our needs and I enjoyed the breakfast room next door that has a great beach view.

The location in Old Town, to the beach and restaurants was excellent. I would consider staying there again.

Nice quiet hotel in the central part of Puerto Vallarta. Close to restaurants and stores. Dated but clean and very quaint. We slept well and enjoyed our stay. Great value for our money

All was ok at Casa Doña Susana. But the 1st day the food at breakfast was not clean. There were some insects on the fruits

Although the location of this adults only hotel is perfect and the staff is super informative and welcoming there were a couple of issues that negatively impacted my stay. First of all the construction next door was unbearable especially in the morning. Also the bed is not all that comfortable. Location is excellent but I will most likely not stay there again.

Great walkable location. Safe and quiet. Love the rooftop pool and cafe. Smart tv, breakfast buffet, water pressure…smiling!

Very quiet property

The area around the pool was very slippery and I saw a couple people fall during my stay. There is major construction on both sides of the hotel

The Hotel was in an excellent location,the staff was excellent, everything worked as intended. The only negative was the room was a little small.

something that i hate we had 3 rooms and the service about to have shampoos and soap it was terrible we have to call almost every day for it hate it

If you go to PV and don’t want to stay in a resort, but close to everything and experience a real life of this Beautiful town check this place out!!

Peaceful hotel in the middle of a busy area. The rooms are small but the rooftop pool and bar are fantastic. The staff were great. The hotel is beautiful. The beach is only a block away.

Small hotel in the romantic zone of PV, but there is no ocean view the only window is to the courtyard

Nice place, maybe a bit old fashioned but the rooftop patio and pool are new and a great place to chill.

Beautiful little hotel. Quiet pool on the roof with a bar for drinks and food. One block from the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants around.
