The property was beautiful and food was amazing 10/10

That staff was amazing!

Bahia Aquamarine was a nice resort but noticed that small details were neglected. Some positives of the resort was the service, some of the nicest and hardest working service workers and entertainers I’ve seen. The specialty restaurants were delicious. Negatives: Our room wasn’t very clean, saw hair all over the room, a dirty bandage on the floor, and areas like the shower weren’t really deep cleaned. The floor was also pretty dirty and didn’t seem like it was swept or mopped. The buffet food options were pretty limited and some of the food was not cooked to the right temperature or did not taste well. I did visit Bahia Luxury Bougainville 2 years ago and didn’t deal with most of the negatives stated above. Overall me and my family did enjoy our stay at Aquamarine. Would love to visit another brand under Bahia in the future but Aquamarine may be passed on from this point on.

I love how the hotel is but something need to be fix... im came & changed 3 times in less 24 hours, so employees is VERY GOOD but some DONT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH...

Spent a week out here. The best part was the entertainment crew. The room was a spacious and the cleaning staff was great. There was a water leak with water dripping from the bathroom lights. A member of our party had multiple issues upon move in and had to be moved. Later in the stay, their room was completely flooded late at night. They had to be moved two time that night due to a burst pipe. They ultimately ended up moving 3 times which is not acceptable. The bed was pretty hard as well, so i slept on the couch some days. The soup in all 3 of our a-la-carte restaurants had to be sent back to be heated. The Tequilla mexican restaurant food was very bland. Fish market was the only decent restaurant we attended. Maiko Tepanyaki was extremely hot inside and part of my party had to walk out because it was so hot. Just sitting there my arms were sweating. The buffet had a lot of choices, but many times the fried foods were over cooked, dry, and chewy. Again there were plenty of choices so I didn’t go hungry. Overall the staff was helpful and friendly. The daily entertainment was fun. The pool bar staff were great and kept the drinks flowing. I wish the bubbling hot tub pool was actually hot. I cant say it was any hotter than the regular pool. The regular pools were also really way too warm to be refreshing. I had to take and outside shower at the plentyful poolside showers to get cool. Best: shuttle carts, buffet, pool Worst: a la carte restaurants

i was a solo traveler and i loved aquamarine. staff is very attentive. pools are the perfect temp. my breakfast omelette was perfect. booking excursions was easy and pickup and drop off was at the hotel. the beach is nice and so are the restaurants. i like how you can see the other resorts also.

We have stayed at Bahia Principe hotels for many years and it is always a great experience. The staff is super friendly, the property is beautiful and well maintained and the food options are great.

Worst resort I’ve ever been to. Roaches in the buffet. Everyone complaining and upset. No cold water in the shower or sink in the room. Noisy cleaning staff banging everywhere and talking loud while we were sleeping. No coffee!! Pools are dirty! Beaches not taken care of. food is disgusting!

We transferred to a different resort because the service was terrible. Spoke w a expedia represenitive he stated we would receive a refund so we booked a different resort w the represenitive then we received a email stating we wouldnt be refunded. So are trip went from 3500 to 6600 defently not a 6600 trip i will be in contact w a supervisor.

Amazing

Overall it's fine, but they added a few things that need to be improved in a bad way, for example, it's supposed to be adults only but you don't get that impression, the only difference from a normal resort with children is that there are no children, you don't feel like you're in an adults only environment. Also my safe was blocked and out of a wait that was supposed to be only 30 minutes maximum, the locksmith took more than 2 hours and we even lost a reservation and almost went without food, the TV is very old and is not smart for a 5 star hotel and also in addition to that, we were left without channels the last two days, no signal, among other things. But in my opinion my rating is 2.5 to 3 stars for an all inclusive package with VIP access.

**AMBAR** We scheduled our trip for Aquamarine but upon arrival we upgraded to the Ambar resort. Best decision ever !!! Ambar has a better entertainment scene on the beach, in the pool, and the lobby. THANK YOU TO NERTANIA who cleaned our room twice a day !!! Thank you to Ela, Luisa, and Miguel who took care of us everyday at breakfast. They made sure we had everything. We will definitely come back again.

I would like all the front that you would see that was coming in. They wasn’t from which stuff that they were doing. They were too laid-back wasn’t no efficiency otherwise from that the staff the ground managers the pool everybody else was spectacular. I enjoyed my birthday.

Me and my fiancé really enjoyed our stay !!!! We loved the property and everything it had to offer. The food was very good at the restaurant and the buffet had a great variety to choose from as well. I would definitely go back !! It was the trip that we needed ☺️

I enjoyed the entertainment staff. They were pleasant, fun and kept everyone engaged and entertained. The staff in the main buffet dining became like family and was just as pleasant and friendly. The room are a bit outdated. In my room in particular the mirror was fading in certain spots, the furniture was worn and outdated. The bed was the most dissatisfying sleep experience because it was hard as a rock. For seven nights it was like sleeping on the hard concrete floor. Ive never seen a bed like that one before. I slept poorly the whole week I was there. The room stayed hot even with the air on and the ceiling fan night time became hot in the room as time passed on.

Well I upgraded to privilege to get around faster staff are very friendly in all the hotels. Bahia Principe in Punta Cana has 7 hotels in one main high lot aquamarine you’re not by the beach like Expedia shows. You have to take a golf cart driven by staff around the whole property. It’s immense no way to walk
