The hotel was great. Most of the workers spoke English. The pools were clean and blue. Plenty of partying planned by the resort.

This resort is absolutely beautiful, the food was great. Entertainment was excellent, if you have children this is a great resort many activities for them. Depending on the building your staying in you may have to walk a distance to the restaurants and entertainment. (They do have go carts, if you can catch one) What I absolutely did not like is the sale reps from “premium club.” My significant other and I were told that we were getting a “tour” of the property something like a “welcome tour” however we ended up being swindled into hearing about a premium club for $30,000. It took about 2-3 hours of our time when we were told 1 hour. This was also our actual first day there due to us getting in late the night before. After we nicely declined the offer after being told “you don’t have to do it” we were met with disrespect and questioning about why we were declining. The women who was about the numbers tried to blame our decision on the sales rep who was absolutely fabulous by the way “Luis.” It was very distasteful and they make you feel really awful with the things they say such as “it’s not taking food off your table.” Besides from this major thing the resort was stunning, great, and clean. Now that I know what to look out for I will absolutely return to this resort.

The property is next to the ocean. The beach is nice and clean.

the food isn’t to good it’s a very small place not much todo and not everything is open all night the club sucks if you want to just relax this is a good place but if your trying to party pick another place

The food was not authentic Dominican food at all. It didn’t have enough meat options if you were a person who didn’t eat pork. The property was old and not nothing like the pictures online. The shower head broke right off when I tried to use it lol. It was outdated. I think this is more like a 3 start hotel. I would not recommend if you’re truly looking to stay at a 5 star hotel.

My overall experience for this resort would be a 4/5. Coming in they do warm you with a nice welcome, and are friendly for the most part. I went on a solo trip for my 25th birthday and stayed on the El Beso side of the resort which is considered adults only.

My only complaint is certain restaurants on the resort need a reservation, I was there for 5 consecutive days and was only able to get a reservation ONE time . Every other day I didn’t have much of a choice but to eat at the buffet which was amazing . And the staff is VERY flirtatious!

The staff was very polite and accommodating. The property was clean and well manicured. The rooms were beautiful. The beach and pools were amazing. The only drawbacks were the pool bars closed at 6 and the staff trying to get you to listen to joining the H10 property. Just like a time share for all their locations.

I am a seasoned traveler & have been to DR 17 times prior to my May 20 th 2024 trip. We stayed on the El Beso side facing the abandoned lot. On the ground level. Day one we pull up to the resort in private transportation & not one bell boy came to greet us or take our luggage. We walk to the check in desk to be told our room wasn’t ready & leave our stuff outside & go have lunch. After 4 hours our room was ready & we headed there. The room was very clean, but smelled so bad of mildew. Our safe was not working & our door lock didn’t work. I called the front desk & security had to come & change the lock which took about 2 hours. I surly wasn’t sleeping without a locked door across from the abandoned field. The beach had trash everywhere. The loungers are not good to sit in as they sag & are very low. No tables to place drinks on & the beach bar service is truly horrible. The beach is always my favorite part of vaca. It was a bummer. The food was suboptimal. Horrible actually. The best food I had was at Japanese. The rice & chicken were delicious! I starved the other days. Mikes coffee shop was ahmazing! Everything was good, but the service is super slow. Housekeeping was non existent. The lobby bar has THE BEST DRINKS & bartenders. Saury was the absolute best & every drink she made was delicious. The piano bar guy was great too. My personal opinion is I will never return to Oceans El Faro. I give them 2 stars.

My suite was amazing. Literally right on the beach with a double sized balcony, by far the best part. The staff was incredibly nice and easy to work with, their timing a little on the slow side but I will take friendly with a smile over timing any day.

It was so hard to book for restaurants.You'll have to do better With the food choices. Food was cold. The only restaurant I liked was the Japanese restaurant

The service is absolute garbage

I really wanted to have a good time at this resort but I had the worst time ever! My Mom and I celebrated her 55th birthday and we were completely disappointed. The resort is beautiful but the drinks and food was terrible, the pool water was always hot, was never able to get a hold of housekeeping or the front desk. The Staff were very aggressive and try to sell you things and wanted us to do a time share, even when we were eating they would interrupt us just to try to have us buy things. If you wanted a glass of wine you needed to buy the bottle it was not all inclusive, my mom key-fob wasn’t secured on her wrist and she lost it, the front desk tried to charge her $150 to replace it. We met some people out there and someone stole money from their room, housekeeping would leave your room unattended leaving room for anyone to walk in and touch your things. The resort had no activities or anything planned, it rained our entire trip and there was nothing to do. Whenever we were at the pool they didn’t have no music playing, it was so quiet & they had no towels it was only for the people who were in the “Privileged Club”. The drinks were watered down, didn’t give you a buzz at all, even the sodas and juice were watered down, the food had no seasoning, room service only had 7 options not including breakfast. We stayed on the all adults side and there were children always on our side of the resort. Worst experience ever! I wish I can get my money back!

Terrible service.. I’ve never experience this in my life. Absolutely insane. Would not recommend this hotel with this staff to anyone.

Pros: Friendly staff, food and drinks were fine, clean, nice rooms great overall appearance and first impressions Cons Room smelled really musty, to the point that I was looking forward to wearing my CPAP at night, wife had to take reactin as she was having issues. they must trn AC off during the day, come back floors really slippery. last day met a couple they complained every day till they got a dehumidifer that they had to emtpy themselves 3 times a day. Couldn't book any specialty restaurants using the app we were told to use. 8:00 am couldn't get into the App or said all full, found out last day most people don't use the App and lined up early to make reservations. despite that no issues with the food Alberto told us if we did a membership information session he could get us into the Japanese restaurant and give my wife a free message. received neither did not purchase a membership we did a 3 night stay Jun 6 - 9 despite really enjoying the resort and the people could not stay there again with the rooms being so musty

The resort’s property is beautiful and has several amenities for you to enjoy. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Food was okay, and drinks tasted very cheap. Overall, a good experience but the food could be better!

At this resort they have an adults only side but don’t have adults only accommodations. I’ve stayed at several adults only resorts, they would set up events specifically for the adults to enjoy and not everyone. I would definitely recommend accommodating the adults only guest on the resort to adult activities and adult hours. Stuff should not be closed at 10 pm. Also they need to update their sports bar, yes it’s mainly for liquor but no snacks, no food, no nothing.

I didn’t like the fact that the elevator to the third floor of building 10 of El Beso where I was staying at was broken for my whole time there This should be a priority at an adult only facility with many elders in the hotel. The food was average and they need to change the policy of registering for the prime restaurants that is completely obsolete.They offer only a limited time to do it and the spaces fill up quickly.

The Resort is huge and very beautiful, the staff is very welcoming and attentive. The food was also very good with plenty of restaurants to choose from. We particularly wanna thank our concierge Johanser Mazara who went above and beyond for throughout our stay. Great stay at this resort. We definitely will be back.
