All staffs are very friendly, polite and helpful. Location is good, walkable to MTR stations. Hotel shuttle bus is another way to drive you around the nearby MTR station. There is a bus route to the airport of very low cost. Hotel room is clean and daily housekeeping is good. Will definitely come back to this hotel next time.

very cozy bed, perfect for family travel

Very nice hotel! We stayed 3 nights, everything is perfect.

The property is well maintained. The hotel room is new and clean. Shuttle bus is available and convenience. There’s a convenience store downstairs. The only things I’m not satisfied is the gym is quite a small one.

Good customer service. Extra time was allowed for late check out. Bigger room space in comparison to the other hotels in Hong Kong.

Guest rooms are well designed, stylish and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. I feel safe in the hotel. Mizutani Japanese restaurant is very outstanding, I was very impressed by its high quality food, comfortable environment and excellent service. I will definitely stay with Alva again when I visit Hong Kong next time.

Airport bus (A41) stop is very near to the hotel. Shuttle bus service to the nearest MTR was very convenient.

Nice and clean.

Lovely hotel. Clean and spacious room. Quiet area. I didn't get view of the river side , just view of mountain, roads and buildings, not a problem as we only in hotel room to sleep we were out every day. Love that you get kettle and fridge. All staff professional and friendly. I would stay here again.

Is ok probably won’t stay here again. Their sister hotel royal park is better

The washer for shower was broken, otherwise is perfect.

Stayed to make regular trips to the Prince of Wales Hospital, my father was hospitalised there. 12 minutes walk from the hotel to the hospital.... was perfectly clean and enabled me to rest well while making regulsr visits.

Room was filthy with previous guests hair all over the carpet and layer of dusts on all area. Hotel also uses scents on all floors, which is too overwhelming for us. Room’s air conditioner was weak as it never goes below 22C over a two weeks period, no matter what you set on thermostat. Body wash and shampoo are no name brand which is unusual for a 4-5 stars hotel, we ended up getting our own body wash after a few days as it causes itchy skin. Location is terrible with very limited public transportation around and far from MTR or major transportation hub. Other than their hotel’s own cafe and restaurants, there is only one store within a 10 minute walking radius. Staff are friendly and professional even with demanding hotel guests.

First time I've stayed at the hotel and can't find anything to fault it, though was disappointed that the pool was being serviced (could have done with email to let me know - given it's a 5* hotel). Had been looking forward to a roof top morning swim each day. Concierge service was very good trying to find us a larger taxi, helpful and friendly. Did not have time to eat in the restaurants. Nearest MTR (tube/local train), was 10mins walk away, there is a SevenEleven at the base of the hotel. Though it's in the New Territories, you have to get the Red taxis rather than Green ones (same price - cheap).

Bathroom setting not good... shower head and shower function very hard to use

All staff were truly amazing. Facilities were perfect.

We enjoyed the stay very much. The safe inside the room is a very nice feature; before we go, I wasn't sure per the online description because it describes both front desk safe and in-room safe, didn't know which one is true. Just one thing: they didn't turn on the heated pool function and that's a disappointment; the whole time we stayed there, it's not hot Summer so we didn't actually use it much at all because it's not heated, heated pool is a part of the selling point / attraction (especially the night skylight view) to us.
