Location was good and the beds very comfortable.

No complimentary water which is a first for me. Staff not very helpful and refused to book a taxi to collect us.

Located strategically in front of tram stops and in between 2 MTR stations it was very easy for us to get around. The hotel is also surrounded by many good restaurants, groceries options , 24 hour convenience stores and pharmacies which met our needs.

There was an incident where someone else's laundry was found in the room when we returned on the second day. It was a bit of a shock, but the staff dealt with it swiftly once we complained. The shower started pooling on day three, which affected our usage as we could not stand in it, and it took awhile for maintenance to sort the issue out.

For Hong Kong standrads, very decently sized rooms, and on a decent price (exceptwhen is any event in HK), it is just right next to the tram stop, subway station within walking distance, nice beds, clean and decent service.

Things are getting really old in this hotel - it used to be great quality, but like 20+ years of wear & tear left its mark on most of the things. You would expect a 4 star hotel, to provide a complimentary bottle of water in each room - well, it is not the case.

The hotel is in a very good location, just a few meters away from the tram station. The rooms were tidy, and all the facilities were present. Was a pleseant stay.

We asked to check in around 30 minutes earlier, which they denied, saying the rooms were not ready. Other than that, This price should include breakfast for free.

We had got the rooms in the 6th floor with some pretty views to the streets. The rooms were tidy and had all the amenities. The checkout was fast, and overall, the service was good.

The rooms should include breakfast for this option. Early check0in for around 30 mins should be allowed. The bathroom drain was slow and kind of clogged from the beginning.

Big room and close to the airport bus service.

The mattress was incredibly hard and the wall to the MTR is a bit long.

Jag tyckte om läget på Hongkongön och att spårvagnen stannade precis utanför hotellet. Det var stora och lite gammalmodiga rum. Personalen var mycket vänlig och de talade god engelska i receptionen. Det är också positivt med en vattenkokare så att man kan laga kaffe och te på rummet.

Jag tyckte att frukosten var dålig och att frukostrummet var instängt och otrivsamt utan fönster. Fönstren skulle behöva tvättas.

The location is perfect, the rooms are quite big for Hong Kong standard and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The rooms are outdated and the bathroom wasn't too clean. You couldn't shower too long or the shower tray would overflow with water.

the room was spacious clean and everything i needed was in it , staff were very helpful and polite, leaving luggage after checking out was not a problem once again staff where outstanding metro was 5/6 minutes walking but plenty of trams and busses just outside the hotel plenty of shops in the area

1) location: the hotel is in a relatively quiet area, however still close to the CBD area. It’s next to a nice harbour walk and the Macau ferry too. 2 metro stations are 5 mints away from the hotel and you can get to central and the airport relatively easy. So quite a central location but in a quiet area next to the harbour. 2) The hotel is big, although a bit old. Room was spacious, gets cleaned everyday and they put water and coffee daily. Hot water in the bathroom and it’s got good facilities ( hair dryer and good fridge). 3) Staff is really friendly, you can leave your bag in the lobby after checkout, it’s quite safe.

Old furniture and smell of cigarette

Das Zimmer mit Hafenblick hatte nur Hafenblick, wenn man aus dem Fenster um die Ecke schaute. Wir haben ein anderes Zimmer verlangt und haben es ohne zögern bekommen.... Hotelpersonal war sehtr freundlich.

...aber auch dieses Zimmer hatte keinen europäischen Standard. Sofas mit Kunststoffbezügen, Fenster, die getönt waren und man morgens immer dachte, es hätte schlechtes Wetter. Stil- und lieblose Einrichtung. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, was wir an der Rezeption nachholen wollten. Doch die Dame an der Rezeption meinte, wir sollten es uns besser erst anschauen. Als wir zum Frühstücksraum kam, der aussah wie eine billiger abgschubberter Wartesaal ohne Fenster, meinte auch hier die Bedieung, bevor wir das Frühstück bezahlen, sollten wir es erst mal anschauen. Ungelogen: das Buffet bestand aus drei Scheiben Toast, ein paar verpackte Scheibletten-Käse, drei Stücke Ananas und ein paar Scheiben verschrumpelter Speck mit undefinierbaren Eiern. Als wir nachfragten, ob man frische Eier, frisches Obst und noch Toast haben könnte, wurde das verneint. So was habe ich noch nie erlebt. Für das Hotel habe ich mich fremdgeschämt. Besser kein Frühstück anbieten.

Located in Sai Ying Pun, filled with both local and western bars/restaurants, and in a very close proximity to other areas of interest. Spacious room, much larger than what the average offers in Hong Kong. Kind and helpful staff, didn’t experience any case of disinterested from the personnel. Good amount of value for what you pay and get in return.

Some of the decoration is clearly dated and could use a replacement/more detailed cleaning. The wifi is slow, not unbearably slow, but just enough to watch a YouTube video on a single device at 720p. The hotel room door cards constantly stop working and had to be replaced often at the lobby - the reason is that they are not supposed to be place next to a phone, as it makes the card reader invalid. Can get quite annoying.

Loved it! The location is absolutely perfect with two metro stations a short walk away and a tramway stop literally outside of the hotel. The room size is quite large for Hong Kong. We also loved the blackout curtains - definitely provided for good sleep at night. The design of the facilities is dated but we thought it just added to the charm - it has an old school feel to it, which we loved. And it was spotless clean with a very nice and charming lady who attended to our room. The staff was a pleasure to deal with overall. Would definitely stay here again.

The cons were - lighting in the room was pretty weak, so it was rather dark at night, it was not possible to adjust the temperature in the room, the breakfast was near inedible and the soundproofing was not ideal (could hear the neighbors coughing and talking loudly)
