Our stay was awesome staff was very friendly and professional the hotel manager took us personally to our room and explained everything about our room I found that very pleasant for her to do that.

Staff was excellent. Access to room was convenient. Great location. Pool was nothing special, and amenities were never replaced the entire week we stayed there, but overall we were very happy with the place.

Very clean charming property with a friendly helpful staff. The location is great because it’s close enough to all the activity and the beaches to walk but also far enough to feel a little separated from it which is nice for sleeping and relaxing. Bed is really comfortable. My one complaint is that I stayed on the ground floor and, near to my door, there’s a heavy gate that blocks the stairway to the upper floors. So every time someone comes and leaves through that gate, the noise on the ground floor apartment is quite jarring. I’d recommend a floor higher than the first one.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. My room was clean, comfortable, with nice furnishings. I also liked the smell of the bathroom, which always had a delicious scent of honey and cinnamon.
Nothing negative to say, except that sometimes the internet wifi connection was sometimes a problem. My computer connected fine, but I kept getting messages saying the server was down and unable to connect. I figured out how to get around this, so luckily was not a big problem.
Thanks so much for all your hospitality - I hope I will be welcome back to ZonaZ on my next trip to PV.

The room was super cute and definitely efficient use of space. I was curious about how many stairs there were since I saw reference to them in several other reviews, so I counted them. (91) from the street to where the hotels are located; (14) outside the hotel; (24) to get to 3rd foor. Total of (129) stairs. The funicular runs from 9am to 10pm, and that will save you the (91) stairs if you use it. I only used it (3) times the whole week of running around, but I had to psyche myself for the walk up each time I returned to the hotel. lol. Great restaurants nearby. Coffee shop for breakfast has sweet energy. Initial tour of room was excellent and a nice personal touch. Loved having OXXO nearby at top of hill for bottled water, etc.

Absolutely great people, good service, nice rooms and a pool and convenient enough if you wait for the funicular or are fit enough to take the stairs to get quick access to the main street.

Great place to stay in PV. Very convenient and safe location. Clean room and well-maintained hotel. Up a small hill (with stairs) to get to the beach but with a funicular available until 10pm to get you up and down for free. Very friendly staff at the hotel. Comfy bed, everything we needed was available in the room and good wifi connection. Would definitely go back.

We had a great stay at Zona Z for 5 nights. The room had everything that we needed and was perfect for the 2 of us. Our balcony was a great addition and we loved spending time on the loungers outside the pool. All of the staff that we met and talked with were very helpful. We also loved the location. Its a short walk to the "scene" but quiet at night and we didnt feel like we missed out on anything. Also, easy access to the beach. And the provided beach towels and beach bag were so perfect!!

We had a great stay. Marcela did fine work checking us in. Other staff helped by answering questions, offering suggestions. The suite was small but nicely furnished. It looked out at a colorful mural of sun and humpback - no view of water or even city. Fridge, microwave and small coffeemaker were in our room, making it easy to go slower in the morning.

Such a nice place! Quaint and homey. Close to beach and nightlife, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Loved everything about ZonaZ. Would definitely stay there again!

The pool was very enjoyable and the property is situated in a nice quiet area away from the choas but close enough if you want to indulge in the fun the area has to offer.
Great food options in the area and Marcella was the perfect host.
Bathrooms are a bit small but the showers are great with strong pressure. You will not be disappointed in choosing ZonaZ boutique.
***Theres a hotel across the street that has a great happy hour with a rooftop deck where you can catch the sunset.

Housekeeping wasn’t included and there were dogs constantly barking. My wife didn’t notice the dogs but I am a light sleeper. Beds and sheets were very good. Staff very helpful.

Excellent customer service and easy of communications with the staff. Location is very clean and spacious. The room is very colourful and excellently decorated. Able to walk everywhere, whether the beach or the restaurants, and even Centro, is only 15 minutes away max.
Other amenities include pool and onsite spa services. Highly recommend this hotel if you come to Puerto Vallarta.

Beautifully decorated suite that felt like home. It was clean and had all the amenities that elevated the comfort level. I loved the area we were in and the proximity to great restaurants, the beach, the Malecon and great rooftop bars! We’ll be back again soon and if not, we’ll be definitely recommending this accommodation to friends and family. Thank you Siggy & Mark!

It’s a nice place to stay in Zona Romantica. It’s on a quiet block. The cafe just around the corner is nice for breakfast, and they are also open late.
Easy to walk most everywhere in Zona Romantica and Centro. It’s up on the hill, but there is a lift if you don’t want to walk the stairs.
We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely wonderful first visit to Puerto Vallarta. ZonaZ is in a great location and we got all of the information we needed about how to get from the airport to the hotel in advance, and plenty of tips about the area when we arrived. Would absolutely book here again next time.

Even though they didnt get back to me from the Expedia platform at all, i was arriving early. I was greeted and allowed to check in early. I did have some downs with the cable and internet going off, but it was an aerea issue. The breakfast is at a restaurant at the corner, great little place. People needs to be reminded that you are walking endless stairs up and down the is lift round the corner. My stairs to the alberca was narrow though. Over all i loved my studio...i had everything i needed. Shower was great. Alberca area waa very nice. Everything is nearby. The tallest happy hour is across the street. Very convenient location, i had a place to get a cheap cab to the airport early round the corner.

This was my first trip to PV & this hotel is conveniently located no more than a 5 minute walk to the beach & all the night lift the Zona Romantica has to offer. Be prepared for a walk up hill every time you come back to the hotel. But I definitely recommend staying here.

My room was super comfortable throughout my stay. Great air conditioning, lovely shower, comfortable bed, much like a studio set up with small kitchenette and sofa/tv area. Wi-Fi access, Netflix etc. Cafe for breakfast. Easy walk to beach (2 blocks) and access to restaurants. Pool area is more of a dipping pool to cool down, great for just one person or perhaps a couple/group of friends to use for themselves. Not really a place to spend the day around the pool. Hotel is a great place to stay to enjoy a comfortable room and spend time at the beach or eating/drinking in the local area. Was quiet at night and safe area. Taxis and Ubers found it easily.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Zona Z. It was conveniently located to shops, the beach, and restaurants. We arrived before check in and our room was ready which was great. I enjoyed the small pool while my partner was on a few calls. We did have a small issue with our window and the water both of which was taken care of my maintenance immediately and in the case of the water issue we were given a breakfast voucher as an apology. The room was clean and cool, the bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Puerto Vallarta. One note for folks with accessibility issues, the area is hilly and requires walking up/down steps if not taking taxis/driving.

Close to everything, the beach and yet pretty quite at night. Very clean and well appointed with nice staff. Very happy overall and definitely will consider staying next time around or recommend to others.

Property is much smaller than anticipated. Not very convenient to get around, stairs to get to front door, stairs to get to the kitchen. Very small, spiral stairs to get to the pool, that closes at 10 pm. Toilets didnt work properly, had to manually pore water into the tank. Will not consider staying there again. Ever.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was. The bedding, shower, internet and most importantly, the A/C were great. The rooms are new and clean and well-appointed. There are several warm touches, like the dolls on the bed and floors that let you know you are in Mexico. I love that they had washcloths and a fridge and plates (nothing to clean the plates with though). Good location. It would have been quiet except there was construction they didn't tell me about at booking That made it impossible to relax in the room during the day, which was necessary because of the summer heat/humidity.

Super charming and away from the noise of the beach front, we really enjoyed the intimate nature of the hotel. Friendly staff and amazing little touches make it a must stay for future visits.

We loved that it was located close to everything. The beach and many restaurant options was less than 10 mins walking distance. The staff was very respectful and friendly. The steep climb back up those stairs to the hotel definitely helps burn off the calories we consumed for the day. If you don’t like cardio, this isn’t the place for you ;).
A couple of negative things were that we are able to hear people chatting below (either late at night or very early morning) and definitely the neighboring resort with a very loud late night party crowd. There’s some animal or bird that’s very loud at night, either living in the roof or in between the walls.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. I especially enjoyed the pool.
The location of the hotel was also perfect. It was close to all of the major attractions, and it was easy to get around.
