We were very comfortable. Check-in was nice and straightforward. We had everything we needed. Kitchen facilities were great.

We just weren’t quite sure what food in the kitchen we could use and what belonged to other guests e.g. milk

Room was clean as was kitchen. Bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied and there were some hairs in the shower. Bed was clean but if you laid on the edge you rolled out! I slept in the middle though and slept well.

The location is near the motorway which we liked as we’re driving to our target destinations (outside Oxford) The bed is comfortable. The room and common kitchen is clean and has all you need

Curtains weren’t blackout and room lit up too early in the morning (it’s summer). Toilet is small (tho complete and has everything you need) that the mirror (also the cabinet) was installed far above the sink that I wasn’t able to use it (5’2” tall)

It was on the outskirts of Oxford, hence cheaper than a central stay.

The room and bathroom were clean, airy, light and comfortable and the shared kitchen downstairs was fully equipped and clean. The house was close to the bus number 8 bus stops and the neighbourhood was calm and friendly.

A long way from centre for town, there was a bus but it was difficult to locate for a stranger. This was not well explained in the listing.

Everything was fine, room number 1 also had its own bathroom. Large kitchen with the possibility of using a washing machine! Very kind owner.

Beautiful little guest house. Very modern and clean. Check-out is 12:30 so you can have a little lay-in 😊 good contact with the owner.

This accommodation was just right for us - quite basic room but clean and provided everything we needed for a weekend in Oxford - about 25 mints to get into central Oxford by frequent buses every 10 minutes - we appreciated the large downstairs kitchen dining sitting area with toaster microwave hob etc washing machine fridge... good amount of crockery - and good messaging with the property and flexible. There was a coded key safe for the front door and for each room.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like - only a small thing but I was glad that we had taken a tin opener as there didn't seem to be one and could have been more cutlery for if the house had been fuller occupancy.

Fantastic property that has been converted to suit guests and visitors. It is a lovely and very clean property and has a lovely kitchen/communal area to be in as well as your room. It was incredibly clean! I would definitely come again. The location was gorgeous- you have a view of the countryside and it is just a 15 min walk to the Headington town (with little shops and local cafes). There is also a bus stop right outside (opposite a church) which takes you right into Oxford town which made it perfect for me to get in and out. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city so I got a very nice sleep and enjoyed walking in the surrounding area without the crowds.

The only thing is to soundproof the rooms a bit as it was easy to hear other guests.

Walls are a bit thin. Rooms are quite bare, could do with some more furnishings. Room was a tad brighter at night than I would have liked as the room did not have proper curtains - could be a good idea to install some.

Don't let the look outside deceive you, wait till you enter the house. It is so bright and very clean. I liked everything about this house. The bathroom, kitchen and bedroom were exceptionally clean. I will be going back there if I ever need a room in Oxford again.
