This hotel is A The attention to detail and incredibly professional/ personable staff made our stay a wonderful experience. The property is perfectly located and luxurious in its well appointed rooms, dining areas, spa and reception areas. The dining areas overlook the neighborhood and river and the view is spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel!

This is the second time we have stayed at The Barrio Alto Hotel. The location is great . We had an issue with our first room. Rachel the customer service representative for the hotel took care of us and moved us to a different room which was perfect. The included breakrast is wonderful and the view from the terrace is beautiful.

This is a classic European hotel with incredible service. It sits on a vibrant, if busy, city square. That can make it a little noisier than ideal but there are a lot of shops and bars within easy walking distance. They made to order breakfast was some of the best food we had in Lisbon. Love this place.

This stylish hotel is just excellent on all levels. The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. The housekeeping team is among the best we have experienced. The food is outstanding. We ate at the Fifth Floor restaurant on our first night and the meal was first class, the terrace bar on the sixth floor is unmissable, with amazing views across the City, and delicious light meals. Breakfasts were also excellent. One of the main attributes we noticed, though, was how there was such a calm and relaxing ambience throughout the hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated with everything you need, and the bed was supremely comfortable. Above all, though, it is the staff that stand out, from the front desk, to the restaurants/bars and the housekeeping team. The service we got was impeccable everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff with great recommendations. Comfortable bed and room just a bit on the small size. Well worth the $. Full breakfast with many options and a gorgeous view. Will definitely return.

We enjoyed being in the center of Lisbon, and the hotel and staff were impeccable !

Excellent service without being intrusive. So happy to be back in the room every night eagerly expecting what surprise is in store for us for the night. Wait staff at the restaurant were so attentive you do not need to ask. If you feel chilly at their outdoor dining, a small blanket would miraculously appear for your use.
