Lovely stay, very disappointed to be charged for parking on a 3 night stay worth £700. We had two cars so £90, had this reduced to £45 but feels like profiteering for the sake of it.

Beautiful property walking distance to a lot. The jr. suite was great very roomy with a huge shower. The food selection and quality could have been a bit better though

The hotel is well located for both the railway station and town centre.The reception staff was not clear about the eco clean benefits against money off drinks.I had to remind staff about the daily discount as we had chosen eco clean. Breakfasts were very good and evening dinner and choice were quite good.
The classic bedroom was good but the bathroom/ shower facility was not fit for purpose. Following a shower the water scattered and the floor was always wet. The staff were friendly and polite.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isn’t too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.

Very excellent service. Lovely hotel. Very clean. Close to the train station and close to the tourist bit of York...but far enough away to be a lovely respite. Strangely no beer on tap at the bar but they do have beer in bottles and pubs close to the hotel.

An Amazing hotel. Loved our room extremely comfortable and quiet. The roll top bath was so relaxing and the room had stairs to the bath and shower so unique.
Decor was beautiful and our room was very clean (just someone’s sock under the bed.
The bed was extremely comfortable.

As they say " you get what you pay for ". Absolutely that is true in this case, stunning 4* hotel . Everything is just perfect in this hotel. Totally faultless in every aspect . Perfect location for a nice walk to the city surrounded by nice shops and restaurants. If you want a luxurious stay after walking around york this is the hotel for you.

My wife and I had a wonderful, relaxing time. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to York yet far enough away to not suffer from the rowdiness. Our room was amazing and the staff were so helpful and friendly it really felt like a home away from home.

Lovely deluxe room although it didn’t have a mini bar or fridge. The hotel itself is also nice but the service was very average and the staff were happy chatting amongst themselves rather than serving customers. The restaurant also ran out of some of the options, including steak on a Bank Holiday Saturday evening at 7.30!! Not good.
