The sheets are SO soft! The soap/shampoo/conditioner are luxurious and smell awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful and have good recommendations for restaurants.

The pool was closed before 10pm. It would have been nice to go for a swim when we got in.

Beautiful building, nice foyer and great connection to shopping centre underneath.

Room was small and nothing special, staff were rude and always in a hurry. Tipping-wise, if you don't get that dollar out fast enough you will be looked at head to toe with disdain, so make sure you have it in your teeth as you juggle your luggage and try to get your bearings. This place did not make me feel welcome and cares only about taking your money. My colleagues I travelled with had the same experience.

The room is very cozy and quiet. This place is very luxurious and you pay the price for it. I love the shower amenities which is very high-end (Le Labo brand).

The water pressure in the shower is weak.

Il était difficile de trouver personnel dans la nuit (c'était un herbergement d'urgence) et le check-in était compliqué. On a demandé un sofabed mais il n'y avait pas de literie pour lui. Il fallait partager la literie avec celle du lit.

Paper-thin walls. I could hear guests in the neighboring room talking and snoring—and cleaning staff in the hallways. I could see light from the hallway coming in around the door! Retrofitting to accommodate accessibility not always successful.

The hotel was in an excellent location, the rooms are large and comfortable and the food/ambience is great! Perfect for business and family travellers. Staff were friendly and gave good recommendations.

Friendly staff

Because we were travelling by train, it was the perfect location across the street from Union Station.

The main lobby doesn’t have any natural light - it’s very dark.

Le fait que nos voisins sont entres et nous ont réveille à 3h30 et parlaient et riaient tres fort. Les murs sont minces, nous avons dû appeler la sécurité à 2 reprises. Les list sont mous et il y avit une étrange odeur dans les corridors.

Le lobby est majestueux et le personnel très souriant et serviable! Notre chambre était grande, spacieuse et très propre.

La salle de bain mériterait de sérieuses rénovations! Pas de wifi dans un hôtel si luxueux est inacceptable. Il faut se préparer à ce que tout soit à des prix exorbitants. La taille de la piscine est décevante, ne pas se fier aux photos.

Wifi was pain to use

Check-in went smoothly and the staff were nice. The main floor/lobby area looked nice too, pretty interesting to have a bar in the middle. Location was also great, right across from Union Station and walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. Parking was also cheap, $10 per day on weekends.

Our suite was close to the elevators and they were too loud. You can hear whenever the elevators were being used and it went all night. If you want to experience a better stay, probably best to request something not so close to the elevators and maybe one of those fancier suites. We were there for only one night and we're already from the city, so it was fine.

Furniture was scuffed and room was small for the price. I have been staying at this property for years and each time the hotel delivers less and less for higher room rates.

The location, easily accessible to the ttc (union station). Walkable to many areas in the city and access to the path. There was a room upgrade and clean sheets and towels. The room was large and spacious.

The original booking states wifi available for paid fee min $15/night, however if one signs up to the all access they get complimentary wifi. The concept of paid wifi for a $300/night room is unconscionable. The soundproofing needs to be worked on especially for rooms on lower floors in downtown toronto. Soaps were replaced daily but the shower gel in my room was empty upon arrival. I didn’t have need for it, so I chose to observe if without comment it would be fixed, but it never was through out my stay. Microwave and min fridge would only be brought in on request. The general experience wasn’t bad but not different from any other hotel. Although it checks off the usual obvious boxes for “luxury” the details were missing and that’s what matters the most.
