Great location, cosy interior and helpful staff.

I found the shower temperature control unit a little bit awkward at times.

Larger than average comfortable room, located within easy walking distance of York Centre and station.

The lighting in the room not great, was on the gloomy side. Maybe a stronger overhead bulb or another lamp on the kettle table.

The location was great, not right in the centre but close enough to walk to everything. The bed was so comfy I had the best sleep on it. The breakfast was delicious and was cooked when sat at the table. The tea and coffee in the room was good quality, not cheap stuff, and the treat of a yorkie bar was nice. The bottles on water in the fridge was nice, too, after a day of walking around. The staff were really friendly, I asked for a bottle to be put in the room for my boyfriends birthday, which they did and sent a card for him too. Nice to have private parking, too. Would definitely go back.

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The room was perfectly clean, spotless linen and towels. Perfet English breakfast. Great location, 5 minutes walk from the city center. Highly recommend.
