Quaint property at a very good location! Very comfortable for a small family. The apartment is very tastefully done and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful!

Its a bit difficult to find the place. Also the stairs are very steep and we had to climb 2 floors with luggage which is not easy. The weather was warm and the apartment does not have airconditioning which can get difficult going into summer.

The location, just that

Well, list is not short but I will try to summarise it, have already reached out the landlord but he has not answered, silence is acceptance.. From my point of view, I don't understand the assessment all people has given to the apartment, it is quite far from being a 10 as many people have scored. I indicate some things that have not made me feel comfortable at all: - there are a lot of things that are not useful when staying, like music cds but a stereo that doesn't work, the cd tray doesn't open, it's one of all the examples - all carpets are a nest of mites and dust, in fact I don't understand why there is a cowhide rug on top of the sofa - there is dust and dirt all over the apartment, but of course it is impossible to keep it clean with the amount of things the landlord has on it - there are bugs, we have found several, in the bathroom, the kitchen and in the the living room - if you are 160cm or taller, you need to shower in your knees or sitting down, otherwise you will kick the ceiling with your head, after having put it down first Honestly, when I bet on accommodation, I do it to have a place to rest and be comfortable. I do not invest in four walls where I can put my suitcases and a bed to sleep. If I want to use it after eating or in the morning, to relax, I also like to have this possibility, and the apartment is not comfortable in this sense, for me it is not worth the price we have paid. The best thing about it is the location, but that's not all, really. In short, my recommendation to the landlord is to give the apartment a complete cleaning, and remove many things from it, it is a cliché, but almost always “less is more”. All the best

The apartment is perfectly located and lovely to be in. Miguel is the perfect host with very fast and helpful communication. The apartment is clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. There are nice touches including a little Port, biscuits and good tea and coffee

Once you add your stuff to the space it can feel a bit cluttered and with children could end up a damage limitation process.

excellent location! right next to the Castelo de S. Jorge. walking distance to the best of LIsbon. the apartment was beautiful. comfortable and clean.

as it’s situated in the old part of LIsbon there’s no elevators or air conditioners. so if you’ve got luggage it’s a bit of challenge lugging it up three flights of very steep stairs ( the host is super helpful with this). if you’re caught in a hot spell of weather, then 😬

The location is perfect. Very close to the castle, restaurants and other tourist point of interest. The apartment is very nicely decorated and has all the facilities you could ask for. The owner is very welcoming, helpful and has very good tips.

As there was a heatwave in Lisbon while we were there, the apartment got a bit hot, as there is no air conditioning and the apartment is directly under the roof. There is however an air-cooler and a fan which do a good job if you open windows at the front and the back of the apartment.

Big apartment in a city center so you can feel Lisbon (and smell sardines :D) even from a balcony! Great contact and support from the flat owner.

The location was amazing, in the old town of Lisbon, restaurants, taverns, the castle, everything was withing walking distance. Miguel, the host was always available and provided us with recommendations.

Amazing apartment that felt both cozy and spacious, in a super location near great restaurants and viewpoints, and just a short walk away from metro stations. Miguel was a great host that was always ready to help and gave some amazing food recommendations. Highly recommend his place!

Very friendly and experienced host, the location is perfect and very central, the apartment is super cosy, beautiful interior, a true historical gem. Highly recommend!

One thing that most people mentioned in the comments here was the low ceiling in the bathroom but honestly, it's not a problem at all since there's a bathtub and it's a very typical thing for old Portuguese flats in the centre. It was just a perfect stay!

This was such a welcoming place. The sheer size and eclectic apartment's decoration was just sheer luxury. It was just perfect. Very romantic location In Alfama close to tram 28 and within walking distance to the heart of the city. We felt privileged to stay in Miguel's flat. Miguel was a great host, providing us with invaluable advice on places to eat or visit.

The apartment is very big enough for 2 persons, perfect location, close to the castle and other tourist attractions, we can get there by walk. The host is really nice and has shared with us some good restaurants We had a nice stay at his apartment everything went well

The bed is a bit humid when there is no sunshine

you can’t stand up in the shower, this was literally the only thing that posed mild inconvenience and everything else was perfect

Owner was very friendly, he contaced us and checked our schedule before we arrived. He was in the apartment waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment is nice.

The location is on the hill, u can take tram or be prepared to climb the hill after walking whole day

The location, the host, the decoration, the little balcony, the great variety of kitchen stuff...actually almost everything.

The only thing that was not so comfortable was the shower, because the ceiling is too low. If you are taller than 1.80 you cannot stand straight in the bath tube.

Nice flat, furnished with sophisticated taste, in a historical building. Great location, next to the tram 28, good restaurants, castello, etc. Despite of it's a flat to rent, without catering, we felt ourselves as a guest because of the host. He's an intelligent, nice, helpful gentleman, we felt like he consideres us his friend, and we also.

The hospitality was wonderful, the apartment was really clean and the host was really helpful with everything, he suggested places and restaurants to go and adviced us with the parking.

Location is the old town, part of the street closed for driving through, i.e. it was mostly quiet. Beautiful street and house, gorgeous well-designed apartment, everything was charming.

Nothing to blame the host, of course, but as the house is old and apartment is under the roof, being >1.80m tall is a bit problematic.
