Distance to town was only 15 minutes walk so very accessible. Bed was very comfortable & had a good nights sleep. No noise from outside either so no disruptions.
Shower pressure is slightly low but not unmanageable. body towels were extremely small & unable to cover whole body

For the money, this is unbeatable. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Great location. Highly recommended. Staff veyr friendly and welcoming. Parking was £5 per night. I'd more than happily stay there again.
Not suitable for anyone who struggles with stairs (not a problem to us though)

The rooms are a bit cramped, no space for suitcases. Fine for one night.

The mattress on the bed was very old and had zero support. I had to sleep the wrong way round to avoid the massive dip in the middle.

Nothing in particular. Well, never saw the owners as the B&B is a self check- in.

La habitación estaba muy limpia y pese a que era pequeña estaba perfecta para pasar 1 noche (máximo 2). El baño grande, moderno y funcional.
Pregunté con anticipación si podía dejar mi equipaje antes de la hora del check-in a lo que respondieron que sí por una tarifa extra. Sin embargo, llegué y no había nadie, cuando la dueña contestó mi llamada dijo que no había nadie en la residencia y que no podía dejar el equipaje. Un muy mal momento...
Además, se supone que era self check-in, pero nunca recibí las instrucciones de cómo hacerlo...

The bed was very comfortable, best night sleep I've had for a while.
The room has Aircon which was fantastic in 24⁰.
Private bathroom was amazing.
Room was nice and clean.
Easy self check in.

Dans une rue charmante à proximité du centre historique (10 minutes à pied), une jolie chambre très calme, douillette, avec une jolie salle de bain.

Great location 10 minutes walk to the minster. 15 minutes walk to the river loads of pubs with beer gardens on the way. Especially loved the exhibition pub old and traditional on route to the minster. It’s on street parking outside permit holder only but contact the grange and they will get you a 24 hour pass permit. Great accommodation for the really low price.

I liked location, it’s in 10 minutes from the city centre. Very nice area . The room was nice and cozy. Everything was working.
I had a room number 10 on the first floor and it was situated near the main door-entrance to a hotel, so every time I heard when somebody came in or came out. Next time i will take another room. Also smell of a food in the toilet.

Room was small (as shown on website) but carefully designed to be comfortable with good facilities and lots of storage. Everything was really clean, too. Outstanding value for money.

Nice, newly renovated and reasonably-priced room in guest house in quiet road 10 mins walk from centre. Clean and comfy, good wifi.
Access via keypads and key safe worked well (can't comment on staff, as didn't actually meet anyone).
Lack of power sockets. Window didn't seem to open. Bed a bit creaky. But these are all relatively minor.

Nice clean room within easy walking distance to the railway station and York centre.
As we were staying for 2 nights, we expected the tea / coffee making facilities in our room to be replenished daily. This didn't happen, so we couldn't have a drink on the second day evening or morning of departure? It would be an idea to leave these supplies in the foyer so you could replenish these yourself??

next to York city centre and only a 10 minute walk. ideal guest house if your planning just to lay your head down for the night. Mary was friendly and helpful. can’t believe the price for a 2 night stay. bargain for your money.

I loved the incredibly smooth self check-in process. It gave me the flexibility I needed as I arriving quite late.
The staff were very friendly and informative. All the information was provided in advance and it was so straightforward.
The room was immaculately clean and the location was right next to the hospital where I had work and just 5 min from the centre for my beer after work.
I was really happy, to be honest.
