Good value for the money, close to the north end of the Malecon of Puerto Vallarta, little ways away from the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful, got some free coffee in the morning.

The immediate surroundings are a bit questionable in my opinion and I'm not sure it's suitable for tourists.

you have to ask for the room to be cleaned during the stay instead of automatic, sometimes the towels wouldn’t dry during the day.

Great staff. Good neighborhood if you prefer more locals and fewer tourists. Lots of killer mom n pop restaurants. Four block walk to the beach. Right on bus routes. Very clean. Maintenance was ProActive at taking care of an item that I asked for.

The facility is a bit rustic. Narrow hallways, weird staircases, the bed frames are concrete. Mattress was firm to a fault. Definitely a two-star facility, aging, a bit of rust and ruin, and yet well maintained to the ability of the staff. I found the open air lobby pleasant and inviting. There is no pool, lounge, or common area where you can hang out and work comfortably on a laptop. It is just a place to sleep. The continental breakfast consists of coffee and white bread toast. I'm not sure that you could find a better facility at this price in this area.

Super helpful staff, even though we didn't speak the same language. Really comfortable beds. Convenient location for downtown, restaurants, the Malecon and airport. 2 blocks walk from the supermercado. Excellent AC, much appreciated during the humid August weather. Great spot for an overnight stop.

The many stairs that we had to carry our luggage up. Pretty simple decor and facilities.
