Perfect spot right on the ocean. Great staff that was attentive and friendly. Condo was spacious enough and clean. Great restaurants and grocery store nearby. Walkable to Malecon and Zona Romantica. Waves were a bit rough when we were there. Some nightclub/street noise from the back bedroom at night. Beautiful views of sunsets from the 3rd floor balconies!

View and location perfect for exploring the area and being able to walk to everywhere, perfect for a first visit. Condo was secure. Paulette was quick to assist when we arrived earlier then the flight details I provided, we were picked up quickly from the airport. Rosa at the desk was helpful any time we had questions or needed a taxi. Jorge (I think) the maintenance man was helpful talking loungers to the beach. I would say my only annoyance, which was not worth complaining about at the moment and didn’t affect our stay was David the night security. At first he seemed like an older man that was looking for someone to chat with. He mentioned how some people didn’t want to be bothered. We quickly got the hint he was making sure we tipped him. We tipped everywhere we went & always do. Our last night coming back was about 11pm, he greeted up but blatantly asked us if there was an envelope in our condo with his name on it and proceeded to ask us if we could go get it & bring it to him, which we did not. Clearly he meant his tip. As we went up the stairs & processed this I was pretty ticked at this. Which then made me start questioning why we were expected to tip him at all. He showed us how to use the code & the door, and told us how to get to a restaurant he recommended (which we did not wind up making it to) which was nice but all the info was in the email. I felt it was very rude. We did wind up leaving him something but to be honest not sure why after that encounter.

Safe and clean 2 bedroom and 3 bathroom unit on the third floor and right on the beach with beautiful views. Pool and beach were great as were all the staff at the condo. Easy walk to the malecon. We watched lots of whales from our balcony and the beach. We ate at La Palapa, Hacienda San Angel and El Barracuda and enjoyed all

We loved our stay. The locations is so convenient, restaurants, bars, Malecón only 4 blocks away. Beautiful sunset views from the balcony. The beach is clean and perfect for kids to play. There are activities all around. I highly recommend this place to stay. We had a blast. Don Jorge, Rosa and Don David made us feel welcome and safe. The pool is heated so it was a plus for my child. We enjoyed a delicious bbq on the terrace next to the pool with the ocean view. I can’t tell you enough about this I lace and its LOCATION.

The furniture of this condo was terrible. All the beds were hard as rock. The sofa only held 2 people, there was no comfortable spot to lounge. Non of the outside patio doors locked. The owner did try to have them fixed but they to be replaced. We felt very in safe. The closets rods need to be secured as you move your clothes over and it all comes falling down. The blinds fell when closing them. The area in which this condo is located is not mean for the elderly, as the sidewalks are very in even I believe this place could be better with a lot of TLC . Do not recommend this place

All staff were very accomodating. Location was perfect for everything we needed including grocery, restaurants, beach, and the city. Beautiful beach views day and night with an amazing sunset every evening. Will definitely go back.

My family and I settled in nicely and the staff at the condominium were really wonderful and helpful

My wife, myself and our 1.5 year old daughter spent a week at the property for our first family vacation (and first vacation post covid!). The location of this property is amazing - so many great restaurants within walking distance - do your research before hand as there's so many great spots! We needed a place that had enough room for us to put our daughter to bed and still enjoy the evenings without waking her up and this location was perfect - lots of room and an incredible balcony where we spent our nights watching the sunsets, listening to the waves, playing games and drinking wine. The description of the property was very accurate and it would be difficult to beat the ocean views no matter where you stayed! We didn't notice any noise at night and the bed was comfortable, as was the temp in the unit. The depth and temp of the pool was great and the beach was well taken care of (our daughter loved spending the mornings in the pool and walking along the beach). Martha and David are really friendly and helpful - Martha arranged taxis for us, set-up umbrellas on the beach and made local calls to get information we needed / recommended restaurants. The host was great with communication and helped us with some last minute changes to our itinerary! We used the shuttle service which although quite expensive compared to the prices we paid for taxis, was very convenient and our driver was very friendly and punctual. He stopped at a Walmart on the way to the condo from the airport so we could pick up groceries and other necessities. My only suggestions for improvement (minor) would be for the unit to have a few more of the staple type items on hand for guests to use (laundry detergent, cooking oil, coffee, shampoo/conditioner) and the hair dryer likely needs to be replaced with a model that has a hot air setting. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and made a lot of great family memories - definitely recommend and if we ever find our way back to PV wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

I travelled with my two adult daughters. This apartment was perfect for the three of us with the three bathrooms! You’re right on the beach and a few minutes away from the Malecon. So many restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back again.

Location is excellent, direct access to the beach and a short walk to the Malecon. Lots of good eating possibilities nearby, plus a grocery store. Waves are a constant noise which took a little getting used to, and sometimes there are parties on the beach, but only once did it disturb our sleep. It was nice not to be right in the main tourist area, and we enjoyed watching all the dogs and their owners having a wonderful time on the beach. Apartment is well equipped with a washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, blender, toaster, etc.. A few things could make it perfect - sharpen the cutting knifes, replace some of the seat cushions on the dining room chairs, one of pool towels is badly frayed, pillows in small bedroom need replacing, no drain plug or cold water in sink in main bathroom, and door to balcony from main bedroom doesn’t open. But a couple of other minor issues were fixed when we reported them. Martha and the maintenance man, night watchman and maid were all excellent to deal with and made us feel welcome. Pool is great too!

Great Property

Good location for access to restaurants, groceries, etc. Owner and manager very helpful in attending to a few issues that came up, and felt completely safe. Only disappointment was that the beach front was too rocky to enjoy the swimming, and it seemed like the beach was a huge dog park, most unleashed, especially early in the morning. Unit was well equipped and comfortable, although there is a fair amount of night time noise on the street side. Two couples in our 70's, did have a great time.

Perfect location, beautiful property, easy access to beach, pool, groceries , restaurants! The only thing I would suggest is having a few condiments on hand other than salt and pepper.

The property was clean and well cared for. The staff was wonderful and responded promptly to every request.

The property is just as described in the listing and I concur with the positive feedback others provided. The complex is small and located directly on the beach. The unit was super clean and the kitchen is fully equipped, even down to plastic storage containers. The master bedroom is quite large and has a wonderful unobstructed balcony and views from all the windows. Located on the beach, there are a few restaurants in walking distance (El Barracuda is superb!) . Supermarket and bodegas are in the vicinity, so grabbing food/supplies/alcohol can be done as needed. In essence, Puerto Vallarta is a walking town/city and you really can walk just about anywhere (Centro, Malecon , Romantic Zone). For quick rides, Uber is readily accessible (and super cheap). Martha, who manages the building, is lovely and great help with inquiries.

Excellent location, friendly and accommodating staff and clean property. Close to everything in a quiet neighborhood. My family and I look forward to returning next year

I can’t say enough good things about this property. From the security staff, the cleaning staff, the owner, the location, the views! Ah! It was superb. We loved being able to walk right downstairs to get to the beach. The kids really enjoyed the pool and it felt almost private since every time we were down at the pool no one else was there. We enjoyed chatting with the night security guard. He was a wonderful man. The location was just fantastic. We could walk to the super market, Pepes Tacos (might have walked there more times that we should have, ha!), and it was easy to walk to the Malecon from the condo. We just really really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this location to anyone especially a family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The view was perfectly beautiful! We were even able to watch fireworks shows around the bay each night. The condo was clean and cool. We were within walking distance of the Malecon and a grocery store as well as pharmacies, restaurants and bars, etc. yet it was quiet and peaceful. For the beach, we could borrow umbrellas and chairs or loungers and set them up by the water. We want to give a special shout out to David who provides security. He was friendly and very helpful. The building is locked, you need a key or the code to get in either the front or the back. David is the one who taught us about the code. He also offered to stay over his time if we needed him in the morning before a trip. We would stay here again :) Thank you to Paulette and the staff at Puerta al Mar!

This place is absolutely as good as the reviews we read. The location is great, close to shopping, beach, good food. Super nice folks running the building, and the facility is super clean. We loved it and can't wait to go back!

Staff was amazing. First time renting a condo in PVR, we usually do a hotel but we thought we would give this a try. Paulette and her staff were amazing in making our stay a memorable one. Check in process was smooth and our bags were taken to the room. AC was pre-cooling the room which was a plus. Condo very convenient to the grocery store, LA Ley, and to the best tacos in town "Gato Taco."One thing I enjoyed was being able to have family over for a pool day as we ate Shrimp Ceviche around the pool. They do supply a gas grill however I couldn't convince the family to a steak. We decided to rent a car, not really needed if just hanging out local, but we went on a day trip. Garage was a little tight during the parking but with the help of the security staff is was smooth. Security was amazing, They were on top of making sure we were secure but keeping in mind to treat you like a friend. Condo was fully stocked and if we needed anything Martha was right there. Washer and dryer was a plus, I know your not supposed to wash clothes on vacation but who could resist. Beds and linens were clean and a good comfort level of the mattress.Views were amazing and the convenience of the pool and beach were awesome. I would definitely come back to this condo, big reason is if you treat the staff like your family, they will treat you like family. We will miss them and see them again soon. Manuel

Beautiful property. Clean, well maintained. The staff were amazing!

Very much enjoyed this property. You get to see two different sides of the city. One - looking out over the mountains and the city from off the main road. The other - the beautiful beach and ocean view. Clean, condo and grounds. Friendly and helpful staff (especially David). Good location - close to everything. Bar with live music around the corner (Captain Don's), multiple restaurants within a block. One short block walk to the grocery store. A few blocks to the Malacon. A nice stroll to the Pier and the Market.

Martha, David and Jorge were awesome and the condo is as advertised. Spectacular views from the balcony. We enjoyed our stay and would return if we visit again. Paulette was always available to answer questions and very helpful.
