Nice property, clean, had everything we needed. We loved the fact that it was right in the center of Gamla Stan, so we could walk into almost every attraction.

Light, spacious and tastefully decorated apartment with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Easy walking distance to many things and easy to get to public transport and uber pick up points (Uber was best way to get to the airport). Would happily stay there again as location and price are so good.

We were well warned about the two flights of stairs. They were old and narrow but could be slowly negotiated with a large suitcase. We couldn't find instructions in English for the washing machine or iron but I am sure the helpful staff would have answered my queries if I had time to make them (we needed them the night before we left).

The location is excellent and close to many attractions and transportation.

Four flights of spiral stairs (and these are not short flights) can be challenging with luggage. We are in good shape but still found it inconvenient at best. This apartment while spacious horizontally, seems to have been vertically crammed into the upper part of the building. The floor has 5-degree tilt and the boards (not put down with screws apparently) squeak enough to wake your spouse if you get up to go the bathroom. The bathroom is sufficient but quite small. One of the couch's base boards is almost visible; be careful where you sit down.

Location and facilities.

The apartment shown on the web site was different (smaller) than the apartment were allocated.

The apartment is in a very old building and experiencing the slope and noises such an old floor has was an interesting and authentic expeirence. The apartment is in such an amazing location in the Old City. We found it so convenient.

The instructions did not match the key location. However, it didn't take long to identify which padlock to unlock. The description about accessing the apartment could be clearer. We knew there was no lift, however, the last 1-2 flights of stairs were spiral and very old, unvenly worn steps. The aoartment features everything you need for a short stay in Sockholm.

4th floor walk up

we loved it here and would definitely stay again. Location is superb: in the old town, but a very quiet street. We slept with the windows open every night and it was silent. On the quay ( 200 m ) you can find the ferry to Djurgarden and an excellent bakery recommended by the owner, we went there every day for breakfast. Lots of good restaurants in " crawling" distance, also nice, not touristy ones. The apt was very much to our taste. In an old building with skewed floors, spacious . The interior is authentic with scandinavian touch and vintage pieces. Not overstyled though. We felt like living in Stockholm. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Shower is fine. Communication with the housekeeper was quick and satisfying.

I had a wonderful stay at the Gamla Stan appartement. The appartment is very well located, it is very nice inside, well equipped. The appartement staff was very attentive to the well being of my stay.

Fabulous quiet location near good restaurants and the waterfront. Lovely sitting room and thoughtful touches throughout the accommodation.

Amazing location, gorgeous interior, spacious, just to name a few.

A fabulous location. Slussen ferry and metro very close. Gamla Stan metro also close by. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean.

Beautiful old apartment but with all mod cons. It was nicely decorated and very clean. It worked very well for us as a family with teenage daughters. The location is excellent right in the centre of Stockholm.

Everything except the bed. Not easy to access.

Perfectly located flat in a quiet street with lots of restaurants nearby. It is within walking distance to all main sights and museums as well as the Central station and the trains to Arlanda airport. The flat was nicely furbished, although a bit cluttered. The photos provided were accurate.

The cleaning could have been better: There was old food in the fridge and freezer that we had to throw away, which was a bit disgusting, and the furniture were quite dusty. The bed was all worn down, it was more like sleeping in a hammock than a bed.

The apartment is great and very well equipped, especially the kitchen, full of any tool. The position is perfect and strategic to see the town. The host is very kind and present....I had a little problem and he came in few minutes. I suggest this place!
