Too dark in the room and too hot and stuffy… needs proper aircondioning

Excellent location, breakfast spread was great and very efficient. The highlight definitely were the staff we encountered. They were without exception friendly, very helpful and went above and beyond with their service.

This hotel is Right in the heart of the city! The location is perfect! You’re a small walk from the water, parks, old town, upscale shopping, bars, and restaurants, and somehow it is also perfectly calm and quiet surrounding the hotel. The hotel has a lovely bar and restaurant attached to it as well, and there is a hopping galleria underneath that has several delicious coffee and bakery shops!

The front desk service, managers, and cleaning staff are absolutely terrible. I booked a suite with a city view months in advance, during check in, they gave me a small awkward handicap room with no view room, and to top it off, the room smelled terrible. I went to the front desk and they said they would send someone up to freshen the room up, but there was nothing they would do about the room. The cleaning staff walked in, sprayed air freshener, then left. It still smelled. Frustrated, I decided to just shower and leave the room. When I went into the bathroom, the smell was just terrible. It’s because the toilet was still filled with poop. Incredibly disgusting. I ended up having to flush down someone else’s excrement and use the cleaning supplies and scrub brush next to the toilet to clean off all the dried mess. I was furious and done with the hotel at this point. I told the front desk and asked to speak to the manager, the manager said she was too busy to talk. The next day they changed me to the room I had originally booked, but there was no more than an apology. Sadly, I felt so inconvenienced by the hotel and I didn’t trust that anything was clean. Also, the breakfast looks enticing, but the food was normally cold, bland, and oily.

Really lovely hotel. The staff were fantastic, and went out of their way to help us celebrate our anniversary. The facilities were great and the location was fantastic. We hope to return in the future.

We had a slight issue with the cocktail shaker in our room. We asked for a replacement, and were given one from an adjacent room. Unfortunately it hadn’t been cleaned. It was only a small issue. Overall we had a fantastic time!

Super clean and quiet room!

Location is amazing! Literally in the centre of Stockholm, walking distance to pretty much everything and also attached to a shopping centre.

At Six didn’t meet my expectations of a 5* hotel, nor did it remotely compare to other 5* hotels I’ve stayed in. For example at minimum, I would expect the rooms to have a smart TV, and was extremely surprised to see this was not the case. The bathrooms also need to be upgraded to match the style of the rooms. The service from the staff in terms of friendliness and hospitality was far below what I would expect from a 5* establishment. They did the bare minimum of greeting guests, and the service just felt very cold overall, which is a shame for such a beautiful hotel. There’s definitely something missing from this hotel, everything was merely average. I would say other than the aesthetic, this hotel is a 3.5/4* at most. I’m not sure if I would return, and if I did, it would be based on location only.
