Hello guys, I came to Johannesburg to enjoy a safari in the area and I am very happy that I made the right choice in this great guesthouse and the exceptional treatment I received from the owner here. The price is good, the area is considered one of the richest in Johannesburg and also a quiet and safe area. The guesthouse is about a 20 minute drive from the airport and the room and the guesthouse are simply outstanding! The breakfast is amazing!! Huge! There is simply everything from everything and what you ask for, you get! I must mention the great attitude from the owner Allen and his son Marcus and the Madam Gail who just help you and your side in everything you ask and need! You have "Dad and Mom" here. I arrived in the winter season, when I got confused and thought it was summer :) Allen took me in his Mercedes to the mall and I bought a coat and training pajamas and helped me with everything I needed, bank, money exchange, etc. The owners are always available and you are not alone. I highly recommend! If it was possible to give a rating of 12, I would :)
We had power outages 3 times a day, about 3 hours each time from the country state, so when there is a power outage, there is no Wifi, no TV, no heating and no air conditioning.

Large spacious rooms, comfortable beds , quiet pleasant location, gracious hospitality, swimming pool was a plus, we felt safe and secure. We throughly enjoyed our hosts and their accommodating hospitality.

The Beauty that surrounds this perfect paradise, has given me the goose bumps! The antique restoration of this magnificent Guest House held me speach less! Marcus and his Family gave us as Family the Royal treatment, I have never experienced that even from the posh of posh Hotels!
Do not miss out on this magnificent treatment.

Our host, Marcus, is a star! He kept in touch from the minute I made the booking and kept me well informed all the way. The parking is safe and convenient. The room in the house is large and comfortable. The en suite bathroom offers a large shower as well as a big bath. The wifi was great and they even offer a limited number of DSTV channels! The communal kitchen offers enough facilities to heat up your meal or store items in a refrigerator. Generally this was a great value for money option!

The breakfast was awesome every morning, The people was friendly everyday, and we loved the stay and we made new friend overall. I will prefer them at any stage and day. Everything was in place and is looked after very good, this is a very old house and has a lot of antics inside, that was one of the beauties of our stay

This property is a little dated but has old world charm. wooden floors and my room had an old but comfortable four poster bed. the pool area was a little cluttered but the pool itself was clean and refreshing with NO chlorine use! the bathrooms were clean, the shower pressure was excellent and my bathroom had a huge claw footed bath tub! everything worked perfectly.
a better system of property entrance would be good. currently the main gate is opened manually be the staff for entrance and a 5 minute call ahead is necessary.

It's a perfect accommodation for a family. It was absolutely clean. Their breakfast is absolutely delicious and you eat till you are full. I enjoyed my stay from day one till I left on day 4.My two kids want to return bcz of the pool and food. I highly recommend it, it's close to everything, it was easy to reach different parts of Johannesburg

The vintage decor is something amazing and they paid attention to detail. The breakfast was lovely and the overall reception was warm. They made contact before the booking date to make sure we are all set.

The host, Marcus was extremely attentive and helpful and was constantly at hand to attend to our needs.
The facilities were adequate for our needs and the breakfast was very good and prepared with care.
In General the guesthouse is excellent value for money and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
