We are travelling from Melbourne Australia. Enjoyed our stay at the house. LeClaire is a great little town, just a bit warm the day we were there. The view from the deck out to the Mississippi is amazing.

A beautiful property, tastefully decorated, clean and everything you need for a getaway. Had a "girls" retreat! A little shopping across the river in LeClaire. Some eating out. Lots of snacking. Well equiped kitchen. Plenty of towels. Wonderful!

We LOVE this location - so easy to get to off of the interstate and really friendly bars/restaurants to eat at. We both work 6 days a week and look forward t a peaceful and serine weekend. I sit on the lower deck and my feet are in the river - can't get any better than that. The house is clean and it was decorated so nice for Christmas. Thank you!!!!!!!

Great weekend getaway for my wife and I. We spent most of our time relaxing on the wonderful deck overlooking the river. Would definitely stay here again - Dan was a great host, checking in a couple times over our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. I saw another post that said the pictures don’t do this place justice and I would agree. The house was nicely updated, the deck was great; would recommend staying here

Much needed relaxing getaway, playing cards, sharing laughter with family, enjoying the expansive deck. Our vacations are centered around water, whether it be the Ocean, a lake, or the Mighty Mississippi, perfect place to stay. Owner allowed us to take can koozies they had in their kitchen, a wonderful reminder of our stay.

The house and property is as advertised. We fished, lots of catfish, bass and a sheephead!! The big tree on the end of the dock helped with the sun. The house is beautifully furnished and the beds were very comfortable. We'll be back!!

Our family spent the weekend at River’s Edge I and II and had a great time! The location is great and houses were clean and beautifully remodeled. Both have large covered decks that were wonderful for spending time together.

We had a blast! This property is right on the river and has an amazing deck and dock. We enjoyed watching all the barges and paddle boats on the river. With its location next to I-80 we were close to everything. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit

My husband and I and another couple stayed at The River’s Edge on the Mississippi in February ‘23. Booking was easy and communications were prompt and easily understood. The home is well laid out and furnished and very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and cozy living area as well as games and food at the dining table. We cooked a couple meals, finding everything we needed. The shower was very nice and having 1.5 bath was great with 4 people. It was fun watching the eagles fly past the windows and even saw one float by on an iceberg. Wish it had been warmer as I’d love to hang out on that big lovely deck! Might have to come back just for that!

We had a fabulous visit at this comfortable, well-equipped, and well cared-for home. The decor is lovely, and the views of the Mississippi cannot be beat. Every time I thought of something I might need, be it a corkscrew or a Kleenex, it was right there in the very first place I looked for it. So easy to get to LeClaire and everything the Quad cities have to offer from this place. Also, our hosts were wonderful about communication and the house rules were well communicated and easy to comply with. Would whole-heartedly recommend!

The house and furnishings are beautiful. The deck is very spacious and has a spectacular view of the Mississippi River. It rained pretty much all day but the covered deck and fire table made it very cozy. We had a very relaxing time.

We had a fantastic time at this house directly on the Mississippi! We spent a lot of time on the decks and dock. It was so nice to watch the barrages going up and down the river along with all of the wildlife. Many adventures in the Quad cities to do! The host were very responsive and kind.

Relaxing
My husband enjoyed the easy access to the river to do a lot of fishing. I loved relaxing on the deck. Kids were able to play on the deck without worrying about overheating from the sun. It was an enjoyable time for everyone!

Boys Getaway
We (my son, my friend and his son) planned a short getaway to watch the John Deere Classic, golf at golfmohr, and do some fishing. We chose the perfect house! The location is great and the interior was really well done. The house had plenty of room and the deck was huge! We grilled out and caught some catfish at night. The fire pit was an added bonus to make smores. The owner Dan was extremely kind and communication with him was quick and easy. He was great to deal with. Can’t wait to go back in the near future but stay longer!
