This house was perfectly located. Just a few minutes to the grocery store and all of the local activities. The beds were very comfortable! The kitchen had everything you needed to make your meals at home. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to stay again!

We have a large group of teachers/staff that spend a few days in Okoboji every summer. This was the perfect house for our group! We loved that there was plenty of space to spread out and be able to hang out in different spots. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space. The only downfall was that 1 of the 2 bathrooms is jn the master bedroom, so 14 women sharing 1 bathroom or having to be super quiet going into the other one was a struggle some mornings. Other than that, we loved the property and really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed over July 4 long weekend. Check in was easy. Plenty of beds and children space for entertainment.
Sadly the rainy weather kept us from the lake but we still enjoyed the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked. Appliances were great.

The cabin was perfect for our extended family stay. We had people of all ages, and everyone enjoyed it. The property was clean, in a great location, and had great amenities.
Richard and Tina were great hosts and were above average with communication. We inadvertently forgot a couple items and they messaged before we even realized anything was left behind. We quickly made a plan to retrieve the clothes. I would definitely stay again if we decide to make this a yearly tradition!

The perfect destination for a getaway weekend in Okoboji/Spirit Lake with a group of friends or family. A great cabin with a nice yard to go along with it. Highly recommend staying here!

It’s a beautiful log house with lots of sleeping space. The pool table was much loved by some of our party. Close to everything you could ever need in Okoboji. The hosts were very accommodating. It’s a great place for a winter vacation, and I can imagine it’s only better in the summer

This property location and setting are set out of the way but 5 minutes from town. Greeted by White Tail Deer in the morning, enough space for our entire group from age 2 to 60, and the extra touch of hospitality to make us feel at home.
Hosts provide succinct communication and swift responses.

We were only there for a short stay, but it was very nice. Cabin was clean and area was very quiet. We visited the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Arnolds Park. If we are ever up this way again, we wouldn't hesitate about renting again. Thanks so much!

There were 10 adults staying at this house. There were plenty of beds and space. We all had a great time. We loved the game room. The boat landing was very close and easy to get to.

We had a family of 11 stay for four days. Loved Lake Okoboji and all they have to offer. Our house had plenty of room for all of us and we liked the big front yard for our ballgames and annual water balloon contest.

The property is not located along the shore of the lake. It is across a roadway and hidden in a wooded surrounding for exceptional privacy. The owners have designed the interior with quality furnishings for large gatherings. The owners provide amenities adequately for an enjoyable stay. The home's interior is well maintained and exterior is designed for large gatherings with 2 large decks. The loft bedroom was a 'hit' for the children with 3 large beds for their own "hideaway". HUGE yard for outdoor activities. The owners make certain your stay will be exceptional and are available if needed. Definitely recommend. Not far from beaches or Arnolds Park Amusement Park. It was the perfect setting for our family birthday gathering, as we left with great times and great memories.

Loved it!!!! The property and house fit our needs perfectly, with 3 separate floors for the different age spans of our extended family! Kitchen was well equipped. Entire house was very clean. Our family will definitely come back to this great property and recommend to family and friends!
Suggestions: Update side wooden stairway and upgrade Master vanity (larger one with more countertop).

The cabin worked great for our family. We had six little grandkids with us, so the big yard was a plus. We were a little leery of the deck off the front of the house however, so we blocked that off from the kids to play on it. There were a couple loose boards and we were worried about the staircase going down to the ground. There was plenty of room for all of us and it worked great. Cabin was clean and it was close to everything. We took the kids to the splash pad/park and that was fun. A good time was had my all!

As advertised. Very nice stay. Cabin was clean, big yard for the kids, nice rear porch area with grill and ample outdoor seating. Plenty of space in the kitchen to work for large groups. Close to the lake, Arnold's Park etc. Would definitely use again.

This property was fantastic for my annual spring fishing trip with a group of friends. Larger driveway was perfect to fit 4 trucks and boats. Cabin was setup very nice and well equipped. It might just have to be a cabin every year for our trip now.

For the past 10+ years, we, with our children and grandchildren, have spent our Easter holiday together in the Black Hills, but this year we decided to stay closer to home as we had a pregnant one in the group who preferred not to have to travel so far. We chose the Okoboji area as we had grown up in NW Iowa. We were hoping the grandchildren would not be too disappointed that we were not going to the Hills. The style of home reminded them of the log cabins we have stayed at in the Hills over the years, and everyone had a wonderful time together. We would highly recommend this area and especially this home to other travelers!

We had a great experience! The cabin was spacious, cozy and stocked with anything you might need. Hosts were attentive and especially accommodating with extreme weather conditions during our scheduled stay. We will definitely be back!

We have an annual off site retreat for our staff. I wanted to find a space that would help create unity and this place delivered. We were a group of 10. We were ALL able to sit around the table to eat & play games! The living room/basement living space was perfect to accommodate us in our “meeting” time! And finally sleeping was amazing!! Beautiful space in an amazing place. The kitchen is fully supplied with everything you could possibly want. I highly highly recommend this place!!

I highly reccomend this vacation home in Spirit Lake ,Iowa. I'd give it 5 stars across the board. The place was outstanding, the hosts were wonderful, it was secluded, and held our group of 10 with no problem. Thanks a bunch. LOVED everything about the place. We would stay again.

From the very beginning of our search for a VRBO cabin, Tina and Rick responded promptly to answer any questions and were extremely accommodating! The cabin was perfect! It fit our large family’s needs and included more than we ever imagined! The pool table and foosball table was a huge hit for our family. There were games available with several spacious rooms where we could all gather! Kitchen had every appliance and utensil we could possibly need. An overall great weekend!! It was great to fit so our entire family could be under the same roof!! This is definitely a vacation we will never forget!! Thanks so much Rick and Tina!!
