The food (for dinner) was excellent, tasty home cooking. Breakfast was extensive choice and freshly prepared according to what I chose. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. The staff here are very kind people.

Beautiful garden, comfortable room and great service! The owner booked me a great taxi with a lovely female driver. We went to a food market together. He gave me tips on where to do groceries on our way to the next location. And I got a vegan breakfast after talking to the female owner of the hotel about vegan food (I did not even officially request a vegan breakfast :-)). Such a great gesture. The drivers who picked me up from the airport were great too. All in all it exceeded my expectations: great service!

Very friendly, great food and transport to and from airport

We had a wonderful stay at the Safari club. It is so close to the airport and our pickup was so seamless and it was a warm and pleasant welcome into South Africa. Alistair arranged everything for us and he gave us a lot of useful advice in terms of what to do and see in Johannesberg in a short span of time. The rooms are spacious and the garden is simply beautiful. There are several species of birds that visit the garden space and you can see them at close quarters at the nicely positioned feeding stations. Our favourite was a superb male African paradise flycatcher. :) The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the meals are wholesome and delicious.

Fabulous location just a stone’s throw from the airport. The free pick up and drop off were greatly appreciated. The owner was very friendly and arranged a superb guide to show us around Johannesburg including his own neighbourhood in Soweto.

Excellent bedding, comfortable room. Personnel welcoming and accommodating, from front desk to wait staff to drivers. Absolutely perfect for an overnight stay in J’burg. Dinner served in the bar at our request, and it was delicious. Breakfast was varied and fresh. We took advantage of their day trip to the Apartheid museum, an important visit for foreigners. Thanks Linda and Vanessa!

Some airport noise but it’s not their fault and the least one can expect at an airport hotel!

This hotel is very close to Jo’burg airport and we stayed just for the one night between flights. We were provided transport both from and to the airport. The staff were lovely and even provided us a very good dinner after we were slightly late arriving. The rooms are air conditioned, clean and comfortable.

it’s a property very close to the airport. I have stayed for one night between my flights. Airport pick up and drop, very convinient. A very nice garden, large enough room including a clean bathroom. They have even helped me to find a vehicle to the city center.

The owners and their staff were exceptional. They gave us very helpful information regarding our time in South Africa. The bar and dining area were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty with lots of food choices.

Alistair and his team were exceptionally warm and welcoming and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. He was even able to coordinate an impromptu fascinating 2 hour tour of the city for our family A truly superb little hotel to stay for an airport stop over brimming with wonderful African hospitality and charm.

Good service with airport pick up and return, Made very welcome by the owner. The oner observed my mobility problems and changed our family to 2 twin rooms next to each other.at no extra cost. The family room was upstairs. Dinner was very nice and a sensible size. Nice chardonnay ( which we finished).

Food is excellent. Dinner is fairly priced. The gardens are a peaceful place to relax after a long flight. The rooms are bright and clean. The airport transfer is an added bonus. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner.
