We enjoyed our stay at Joann’s place for our girls trip. Everything was nice and clean and just as advertised. Joann’s communication was excellent. We would stay there again.

Had a WONDERFUL time, the host was amazing and helped us with parking to make sure we didnt get towed after we parkwd in the wrong spot. Location was right above the Scent Workshop and on main street. Perfectly accessible, clean and Joanne is the best host and very helpful and flexible with arrival and departure.

Joanne was kind and communicative, and the place was conveniently located right downtown, above the shops. The check out procedure was seamless and very accomodating to guests. We appreciated the coffee that was availble in the morning, too! Highly recommend!

My family came to kick off the Holiday season. This was a great place to stay right on Main Street. Perfect for shopping, dining or just being together enjoying Galena! The owner was very responsive to any questions and gave us great dining recommendations. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Location couldn't be better! We parked our car in a reserved spot when we arrived and didn't get back in it until we left. We walked everywhere we went. The shower worked but needs some repair, and the kitchen is lacking some basic supplies we are used to VRBO's having. Otherwise we absolutely loved our stay.

The hot water for shower was luke warm. The location Is fabulous. Check in and Check out was a breeze. Owner was accommodating and kept in contact. The place could use some updating.

Joanne was awesome. Very responsive and helpful. The place was a perfect location. Once we parked we were able to just walk everywhere.

The location is very good as all of main street is within walking distance. The only negative is that there are a lot of steps. This is true of all of Galena.

The overnight was great for what we needed. The apartment was as described and communication with Joanne was great . I think a little attention to decor and plumbing maintenance could go a long way.

Wonderful apartment on Main Street Galena. Comes with private, off street parking, which is a premium downtown perk. Great communication from host complete with restaurant recommendations. Will definitely book again for our next girls trip!!

Great location - easy access to downtown - good amenities

The location was amazing. The only thing I would change is the mattresses. They were a bit hard but could just be we like a softer mattress. The location of parking was good also because on a weekend it can be very hard to find a spot to park

Girls trip. Everything was as shown in pictures and description. JoAnne kept in touch throughout the whole process and checked with us to make sure everything was good at check in and check out. Perfect place for group stays! Steps out on to Main Street. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very nice time staying here which put us right in the middle of the action in Galena. We could not have been in a better location.

The over-all description of the property is accurate -- it does say 'steps', but the steps in the back were "more" than expected. They are necessary, but challenging when carrying in items from the car that couldn't be left out in the heat (bottles of wine) and other items PLUS carrying the suitcases down all the steps. Thanks Goodness I had 20 year old granddaughters to help me! We were a 3 generation group. We got to the property late afternoon, pretty much turned on / up the AC as high as it would go and went out checking out the town for the next day of shopping. We ate a very late meal and didn't get back to the property until after 10:30 p.m. All of us had planned on taking a shower and washing our hair only to find out there weren't enough towels for more than 1 person.... THERE WERE 6 OF US! Our reservation had been made over a month a head of time, so they had enough 'time' to figure out 6 people were going to be staying at the property. Oh,,, and we had to search for the towels allotted to the 1 person. No extra wash cloths either! NOT fun after a 90+ degree day and now 5 sticky sweaty people that can either share one set of towels or go without a shower. Very frustrating to say the least. NOTE: It was 11 p.m. by the time we discovered the 'lack of towels' so I didn't contact the owner until the next morning. Her comment was "you should have called me, I would have told you how to get towels from the apartment next door". She did say she answers the phone at all hours, but in my opinion I shouldn't have had to call her to start with.... again, they knew several weeks ahead of time there were 6 of us coming. Owner did say she would talk to the housekeeper. There was an extra pillow in a closet -- but no pillowcase to put on the pillow. Pillows were debatable at best - need to buy new pillows or at least provide better options. The combination fan/light in the twin bedrooms "has issues". It seemed to be electrical issues in nature. It stormed during the night and when it was thundering or lightning the light would 'turn itself on'. Someone had to get up twice and 'shut it off again'. I don't know who is responsible for the mess in the back of the property, but its disgusting and filthy... furniture is out there along with other items and they appear to have been 'dumped there' vs. being used. It may not belong to this property, but it certainly doesn't give a person a positive reaction for the property..

Great location on Main Street! We enjoyed our stay!

Great location for group of people to be able to come & go for eating and shopping. Lots of stairs both front and rear entrance so we got our workout in carrying luggage and coolers in and back out of apartment. The back “patio” area needs to be cleaned up we swept it since they left a broom out for us. The apartment itself was decent size & clean - it accommodated our group of gals nicely!

We had the greatest experience staying in Galena! This place has a great location within walking distance to many things in town. JoAnne is a great host... Easily accessible through text messages or phone call. Very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely stay here again, given the opportunity! Thanks!!
