We were excited to stay at Maitre and the space looked nice, unfortunately the stay quickly turned into a mess.

The room smelled horrible: the bathroom had a strong chemical smell as if painting or caulking had been done. The room had a strong odor of men's cologne. Within two hours, my husband and I became sick; he was gagging and vomiting, and I had a headache and became lightheaded. We called the front desk and asked to change rooms. The attendant said she called the owner who said that the room had been painted the day before. We informed that we were becoming sick . . . as it turns out from inhaling paint fumes! This is incredibly dangerous and the attendant said we would be refunded. We left the hotel around 6:30pm without staying the night. The hotel now refuses to refund our money. I have messaged twice, and they do not respond. I received a notice from Booking.com that said the owner has declined the request to refund our stay.

The location is close to the local airport and staff is very nice.

this was an authentic small boutique hotel in an older building, but was very charming, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were excellent about helping to arrange taxi to dinner, and the airport would highly recommend it, and would stay again.

The rooms have a really bad smell, the sheets are dirty, a dirty towel was hanging in the bathroom, the safe wasn't working. Shower was horrible, overall a very bad experience.

Room was nice and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Area is very nice with lots of restaurants and bars.

Small items advertised missing from room, although reception were helpful. It's a v small hotel so from 8pm you need to ring a bell for them to open the door to get back in.

The bed was comfy

The breakfast was pathetic. 1 croissant and 1 small cup of tea and we were asked to pay extra for any more eg another cup of tea. Also the room was rather small

Shower is Great, Room is clean, Bed is comfortable, location is close to most places we want to visit, closet are roomy, and breakfast is great.

Good location, reasonable value.

2-level, stairs slippery (dangerous!) and don't feel stable, bathroom downstairs, elevator not working at night.
