Good location, quiet street. Just a short walk up the road leads you to the nature reserve, where you can admire the scenery from the top of the hill. Breakfast was awesome! Can't remember when last I had such a diverse and delicious breakfast, with even a vase of fresh roses on the table. Comfy chairs in room and on stoep. Lovely well-maintained garden with lots of trees and birds. Perfect for a sundowner!

Not much, really. Shower a bit cumbersome, but heated towel rail, soft rugs and attention to detail more than made up for it.

The property is warm, bright and very serene. The host is lovely and extremely welcoming. I opted to have breakfast on site and I was served like a king! The property is clean and the room had everything I needed. Great wifi, peaceful stay and a massive patio all for myself - what more could I ask for?

Everything was great

Good value for money and in a very accessible area in Randburg. The room is a good size and the big patio space outside the room was a nice touch.

The WIFI connection is really poor

We did not book the breakfast as we had a very busy schedule. The location was exactly in the area where we wanted to be. The rooms were beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We had to make alternative arrangements and the hostess was very accommodating. She did not hesitate to assist us.

We liked everything about the venue.

The host (Sibongile) went out of her way to provide, and prepare, breakfast that was conducive to my dietary requirements. I appreciated the timely communication between myself and the host prior to my arrival...and after. All my questions and concerns were answered. This lovely, well manicured, lodging is nestled high up in the hills. The neighborhood is walkable and has its own security. Isaac's immaculate Studio/Room is tastefully decorated and spacious enough for a couple or an individual. The gallery/kitchen area provides a small refrigerator, sink, and microwave. It is located outside of the room, however a stove for actual cooking is not provided. This food prep area is totally dedicated to the room guest. Lights and WIFI are provided during load shedding so work stoppage is not an issue. The lodging is situated near restaurants and shopping malls. The host was gracious enough to introduce me to one of her favorite local eateries. Sibongile was so kind to pick up local bottled water from a distributor that I had purchased. The host (Sibongile) and her staff are truly dedicated in ensuring the comfort and positive experience of guests. I was able to work, rest, and enjoy the refreshing atmosphere while at Isaac's Lodging. Upon visiting Johannesburg again, I will return to this lodging. It exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend.

More than what I expected. Sunny, Warm and Serene it is. Very quiet, clean and beautiful garden! Safe and quiet neighborhood. Super friendly host. Good value for money. I absolutely love the place!

Isaac's home is now my home away from home. The level of professionalism of the host is admirable. It matches the establishment which is a very beautiful place. Trust me; the pictures don't do it justice. It's in a quiet neighborhood and your privacy is guaranteed. I felt very safe and despite having stayed for 5 nights; the thought of having to leave left me feeling sombre. We never experienced load shedding but there are charged lights in case it does happen. There's a smart TV with netflix and YouTube and it works quite fine with the WiFi. The bathroom is beautiful and spacious and I really appreciated the bath salts that the host added as an extra touch. Water pressure is good and there's a hair dryer as well. Be on the lookout for some nice tea surprises, there's quite a variety and if you're a fan of tea then you'll be spoilt for choice.

There are no cooking facilities.
