The property looked fantastic, unfortunately, due to a disability, I was not able to stay here. I was aware that there would be stairs, but I wasn't aware of how cluttered the room would be making it difficult to maneuver with a cane nor was I aware of how high the bed was that I would need to use the 2-step stool to get in/out, not capable of doing when you need a cane for stability.

No mention that property was not handicap accessible and no response from the owner concerning a partial refund due to circumstances. Also, the owner said that due to the busy weekend they might be able to re-book my room and they'd let me know, no response a few days after scheduled stay if this happened. I reached out via message in app.

Lovely bnb. We were not able to stay for the breakfast, but Jimmy packed us a wonderful breakfast to go. Can’t say enough about the hospitality and will gladly stay here again if we end up in Shreveport.

The breakfast was amazing! Local dishes such as grits and muffins with Mahaw Jelly were exquisite. The location is ideal to all our family members homes and places we like to go such the Norton Gallery Garden and Betty Virginia Park. It's a great neighborhood for walking and seeing historic homes and gardens. In the Spring, the azaleas are spectacular.

The location was perfect, close to downtown and the casino area. We loved the breakfast, best fried pie I've ever had! The house is amazing and fun to look at all of the decorations.

The bed was a little uncomfortable for our taste. We did not like that you could not lock your room when you left to go do something. We felt very safe there, just thought it was odd that you couldn't lock your room with your belongings in there.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was fantastic. Our host was very kind and accommodating. Loved the big porches!

It was a lovely older home but felt a little cramped due to all the "things" in the rooms. There are several areas especially the bathroom that needs some major TLC. Had beautiful period pieces, but if mine, would do away with all the EXTRA decor/trinkets and it would help the room feel much larger and not so outdated. Ran out of hot water quickly.

This Bed and Breakfast was so warm and inviting. From the moment of arrival you feel as if you are home. The breakfast is different every morning and so delicious! After breakfast you are offered a freshly made fried pie! The owners are constantly making sure your stay has been nothing but wonderful.

There was not one thing I could complain about.

We've stayed here several times in different rooms over the years and always enjoy our visit. Wonderful breakfast each day!

The house is decorated completely Victorian and each time you entered a room you saw something new. The decor changes with the seasons. Our queen bed was so high I had to use the step that was provided but the feather bed and feather pillow made for a very comfortable sleep. The owner is an incredible cook so breakfast was to die for. Can’t wait to return!

The breakfast recipes, appearance, taste, presentation and creativity were all exceptional. This was, by far, the best breakfast that my husband and I have ever experiened when dining out at any restauratn, let alone, a bed and breakfast establishment.

Everything was perfect. I wish that we could have stayed longer.

We loved the delicious, interesting breakfasts, chatting with the two hosts; in fact, we came home feeling as though we were leaving old friends. The location was perfect for us, convenient for the contacts we wanted to make in Shreveport, easyt to find and easy access to our routes to other destinations.

LOVE 2439 Fairfield! For me the location is perfect. I'm originally from Shreveport and enjoy visiting and staying in older areas such as Fairfield. Jimmy and Brian are terrific hosts and the home is both comfortable and charming.

Breakfast was great, they even allowed my military daughter to join us for breakfast, even though she was not staying there.
