Lovely Edwardian house

It was adequate, swimming pool was good but could have a spinner to dry swimming costume and bag to put costume in. The surroundings looked delightful. No need to turn down duvet.

Bed was soft. Another table to put kettle on and tea making facilities close to an electrical socket. No need to change towels during short stay. Why was discretionary service charge included without asking?

Everything at Park House Hotel was outstanding - the staff, the facilities, the food, the spa. It was the perfect place for a relaxing break. The food was the best we have had in years!!

If I had known that the room would be so noisy I would have stayed somewhere else.

The Hotel has a lovely spa

Dont stay in room number 9 - it is directly over the kitchen so you hear everything! Staff chatter, appliance noises, banging, crashing - I have stayed in hotels in central London that are quieter. When I made a complaint to reception they said that they try to avoid giving people that room because of the noise. I was disappointed at their attitude - no attempt to make amends. That bedroom should be an office not a bedroom - it is not a place to rest! They definitely need to either change it into something else or invest in sound-proofing.

Idyllic Stay

Gorgeous hotel. Room was spacious with a lovely bed. Believe we were lucky enough to get an upgrade also. Facilities were great, grounds really picturesque and the spa was just what we needed. Breakfast was also really first class. We went into town for dinner which was a 5 mins drive. Overall great stay, wish we could have stayed longer.

The sauna and steam rooms being separated by male/female is sometimes a bit annoying if you are with your partner - but really not a big deal.

Beautifully appointed boutique hotel with spa and other facilities (swimming, golf, etc). Could not be faulted. ideal country location, wonderful staff and facilities. Lovely restaurant, bar and public rooms.

we had a great time made use of the facilities and knew we had spent a lot on dinner but the total cost was too much wit

The grounds are excellent, the tennis , cricket, putting and spa is amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly

The rooms could do with some renovation . The tax added to dinner and drinks prices was a shock

Anniversary weekend break

Friendly staff, beautiful grounds and comfortable beds. We were celebrating our anniversary and this was a lovely relaxing break.

A real gem in a gorgeous location, with very friendly staff and wonderful facilities

The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The hotel grounds are just lovely, with so many options to sit outside, and the indoor pool is just beautiful - as is the outdoor one.

Couldn’t fault the property at all, we never used the restaurant because the menu did not suit our taste so can’t comment on the food. The breakfast was 1st class.

Restful, comfortable and enjoyable peaceful stay with lovely people in a peaceful location

We were looking for a 2 day rest for my wife Susan ahead of a hip operation and it provided all we wanted. We were not able to use the pool and sports facilities on this occasion but were impressed with them and will certainly do so on a return in the future. Thank you for a nice stay at your smashing hotel.

It was a rest after a busy few days catching up with family and visiting

Breakfast was very good But there was often a chorus of where’s my toast It became a quest The room was well decorated very clean and quiet The lounge was comfy and the swimming pool and gym Well used by my husband

Toast brought out straight away and maybe a different way to serve the juice at breakfast

Great hotel and spa with lovely staff. Food was good too!

We had a couple of issues with other noisy/disruptive guests but staff endeavoured to resolve and a gesture of good will was made at the end of our stay which was appreciated.
