Good, reasonably priced hotel with really nice cosy bar and bistro. Lovely food.

Lovely small cosy hotel with really nice bar and bistro restaurant. Really good location for both Town and Burford Garden Co. Good car park .

Hotel is on the A40 with traffic passing through all night.

Lovely hotel in the Cotswolds

The location, the room was cosy and comfortable. We liked the breakfast as you could choose what you liked from the menu as it was cooked fresh, good parking.

Being really picky breakfast finished at 10am but otherwise everything was good

Great location, friendly staff, needs updating

Breakfast was good, freshly cooked and enjoyable. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

The room was poor and work needs doing to improve. Poor hot water pressure . Would be better as a double rather than twin due to layout of the room, i.e only 1 person can see the tv from the bed. Wiring covered up and boxed in . Plugs in wrong places due to layout.

Beautiful property. Breakfast was delicious. Easy to find. Good parking. Nice atmosphere.

A bit noisy as near a major road. Breakfast start time a bit late for the business traveller.

A gem in BURFORD

The owner Andrea was welcoming and accommodating. Excellent breakfast and service. Good location with ample parking. We wish her all the best with her investment

The steep stairs to the top floor. But this could be attributed to our fitness levels

We had the perfect break in a lovely hotel run by wonderful, friendly people who made us feel very welcome.

Out four night stay was very pleasant and convenient for Burford itself just a short walk away. Homely but professional

Very comfortable room, excellent facilities, delightful dining room, bar and lounge. Restaurant also very good, food and service complemented by pianist playing live on our first evening. All staff very friendly, polite and helpful.

When booked didn’t realise they did not do evening meals then when we arrived were informed they were going to open the restaurant which was too late as other arrangements made

Comfortable.

Lovely cooked eggs and nice smoked salmon. Great location. Warm and comfortable room. Friendly staff.

Lack of accommodation for dietary requirements. Despite emailing ahead of time after booking and note on registration online and discussing needs as we arrived we still ended up supplying our own bread rolls and lactose free milk. No alternative butter to accommodate lactose free ended up eating dry bread. I was disappointed.

Great location and delicious breakfast, request a room on the back of the hotel, not on the street.

The location gave us walking access easily into town. Loved that! Breakfast was delicious and awesome! Lounge area very nice.

Sleeping!!!!!! Our room was right facing the highway with trucks and traffic all night long. Only option was to close the window and turn on a fan to survive!

A Dream place

The entire place is perfect. Nothing is out of place. The kidness of is owner, the atmosphere, the exquisitez breakfast, the Dream views . The cleanliness and cordiality of everyone Who works there . I told mysef: it's my place in the Word!!

Cosy Cotswolds Lodge

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed and it has a nice sitting area.

Excellent breakfast. Location close to town centre. Excellent soundproof glazing in the room, couldn't hear the traffic. We chose jacuzzi suite, recommended. Andrea very attentive throughout our stay.

Fantastic warm and welcoming stay

Fantastic welcome from Andrea ! Yummy breakfast and fabulous jacuzzi bath tub! Spacious room and lovely big clean bed.

Some decor could be updated due to age of items. But I am aware the owners have only had the place for a few months so are working through to get it how they want it.

A little gem in Burford

Exceptionally friendly staff who went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast really was lovely. The breakfast area was very comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were adequate as you do not spend a lot of time in them. My husband found the bed comfortable but I prefer a firmer mattress. Bathroom was quite spacious, shower was good and there were plenty toiletries for you to use.

Lovely relaxing and Andrea was a super host.

Great condition, well furnished, beautiful public area (bar/breakfast area/sitting area) and excellent position just a 10 minute walk into the Burford High Street shops

Fantastic! We will be returning guests.

Everything was perfect. Exceptionally clean and friendly hotel. Lovely host, free parking and WiFi. Breakfast was very tasty and nice atmosphere. The interior design was very nice too. Short 10 minute walk from the High Street and lots of local pubs & restaurants nearby.

Recently refurbished to a very high standard, tasteful and in keeping with the building. Excellent and attentive owner gave us a very warm welcome and a super breakfast. Will definitely return again.
