Not much really, the shower was ok
I didn’t like the £299 deposit for a 1 night stay, the property was very worn. One of the beds were damaged, no window blind or curtain in bedroom, bathroom sink was blocked, kitchen cabinet was damaged, flooring scabby and worn. On arrival there were no towels or toilet rolls but host did supply later. £15 extra charged for non-allocated parking and I had to park on the curbing. Confusing property name, it’s actually called Park Lodge so took us a while to find it and host did not answer phone when we arrived, took at least 5 attempts and messages to get a response. In hindsight I should have paid the extra and stayed at premier inn.

This property doesn’t meet our expectations and what we paid.

I only booked for accommodation. Excellent location. I’ll definitely go back there.

Conveniently located, clean and spacious apartment. The park next to the apartment was beautiful and the area very leafy and family friendly. The weather outside was fairly cold but the apartment was lovely and warm. Will definitely look in again when my family next visit.
Nothing to complain about.

got to the property early and called to see if we could move up the check in time. they said no which was fine, we went and got some lunch and then came back to the property at the check in time. called the number which we had called earlier to speak to them on and the number was invalid. we then got a email cancelling our accommodation.
would not recommend booking

They took £100 from my deposit for smoking when none of the people that stayed there even smoked, they charged me £60 twice for late arrival to the apartment, I call them up about this, one of the staff was rude on the phone and said they would call me back with an explanation to all this, that was on Saturday 5th of February. I still haven’t received a call back of them and they aren’t answering my calls now.

I liked the fact that we had a private car parking space which was near to our entrance which was really convenient when I had to carry in my luggage. Another plus was that this is no one of hose ‘party’ blocks where there is noise all through the night. Its a residential building with friendly neighbours so there was no problem getting a good night’s sleep. In other news - its close to a small village centre where there is a co-op and a Tesco and lots of food options. A lovely apartment for a comfortable stay.

Perfect position, helpful host/owner
I didn’t not like anything, but it was v basic eg no tea towel

Good access to public transport
The name is Park Lodge, not Alexandra Heights. This made it difficult for our taxi driver to find.
The bedding and three towels provided were not clean and we had to buy our own. Pillows were particularly soiled. No kitchen towels or bin liners provided, or non-slip bath mat, we had to buy these as well.
Ten beds in the apartment (one double bed broken), two wardrobes (one completely broken), but only one toilet in the bathroom.
Ongoing problem with the water heater which needed to be re-pressurised every two days.
I queried whether the property had been inspected before it was listed.

It’s in a good location easy to find and the neighbors in the building are good vibes.

Great apartment came for work purposes much bigger and better than what we expected to find.
